Chapter 28 CONSEQUENCES AND RECONCILIATION II

The light shines through the closed blinds illuminating the room inside, the birds can be heard chirping outside the infirmary window as the next day approaches. People can be heard outside talking and laughing as they played on the grass or by the dock. Wolf squints opening his eyes to be greeted with the familiar white celling roof that always lifts up when wind gets blown inside of the room. Wolf looks to his right and sees the blankets have been moved off with a note from AK.

To Wolf when you wake up,

Went to do some stuff with the rest of the team will be back later on. There's some coffee I left for you when you wake up. You might need to reheat it but depends on when you wake up or notice this note.

Wolf looks to the infirmary bedside and sees a coffee cup and went to grab it and it's still warm...AK didn't leave too long ago, Wolf checks the lid to make sure she didn't do anything funny with the lid or coffee but it looks all fine so he goes for the taste test and.... it tastes like coffee.

Wolf: Tastes like coffee so I guess AK didn't do anything to it.

O-H: Don't worry it's fine I was watching AK grab the coffee so don't  worry it's fine.... so how was your sleep partner?

Wolf: Better than most nights actually.... maybe all the talking with everyone made it a bit better.

O-H: Well your mind feels a bit more clear so I think it might be working... in any case more people might be coming today so be prepared for that. Also Reno sent a message to me that I was meant to pass to you.

Wolf: Thanks for the heads up.

Wolf checks his phone and looks at it and sees a message from Reno. He clicks on it to be greeted with a wall of text.

Wolf: What did she send me?

The message says the following 

Hi Wolf,

Just an update on your boat but before that I got to say you really screwed your boat this time. Like I'm surprised we managed to even fix some of it. A lot of the pieces had to be pulled off and fixed one by one while some will have to be remade which will take a bit. The Manjuu's are still picking up the parts at the place where your boat was before. Your boat is far from fixed but good news as turret A and B are fixed thanks to the gun barrels being very similar to Georgia's gun parts so we just asked her and she said she was cool with it.... since well as she put it "A gift" so if you can please thank her later.

Also about this experiment thing that O-H has hopefully notified you about but if not... the summary is that your going to test this new piece of equipment and if it works we can use it on your boat and it will give you a significant upgrade to your defence and offense but I can't tell you cause I want to keep it a surprise. Till then get well soon.

Wolf: You guys still haven't told me what on earth am I trialling?

O-H: You'll just have to wait and see.

Wolf: *sigh* If it puts me in danger I swear... cause I think I've had enough being almost killed....

O-H: Relax you won't die.... hopefully...

Wolf: HOPEFULLY?!

???: Hopefully?

Two girls enter the room that Wolf was resting in..... Wolf looks at them and notices it's Ump 9 and HK 416.... They look at him with a bit of nervousness as he falls silent. They ask him about who he was talking to, however Wolf refused to tell them that it was O-H instead saying "Just talking to myself". However they could see through the lie so as they stand there waiting for a proper reply Wolf replies back "Alright then O-H you there!?".
