The Soldiers of Sector V
Chapter 85 TRUTH THROUGH THE LIES
The office was silent as Perri awaits for Wolf to appear he had no clue what he had to tell him but sue to the radio call being abrupt told him that more bad news was coming. So shortly after defeating the Sirens and recapturing the mine Wolf had even more ground breaking info that really knew how to shake a nest up as he looks at the watch on his desk, the old watch that he used a lot in the ground forces now just sat there collecting dust and acting pretty.
Sometimes he wished he could go back and see the action for himself but he decided that the commanders role was what he should take. Back then he didn't think it through but now he wished he refused the offer but instead here he was sitting in the leather chair provided to him. Wolf was turning everything around with the other units of Sector V, He could never not thank him enough. Back then before all this he could of been given something special but now they couldn't.
However Wolf wasn't the one to take gifts so easily always doing more than he ever needed to do for everyone. The other girls wanted to treat him to something but they knew he wouldn't ever do it even if AK pulled him along. He still didn't trust them fully and was worried that the other girls were just doing it out of pity for what happened. They lost a good friend who they could use as a shoulder to cry on and train with.
Now all they could do is watch from a distance or help him from a distance, he was like that unreachable kid in high school who was just out of their league but in this case it is due to harsher actions. Even though he may talk to 9 or 45, they knew they also needed to continue to make things better after it all. However Wolf was recovering slowly but it was a reminder that had they pushed him any further he would of went rogue.
Perri couldn't imagine what would happen if Wolf went rogue instead of going undercover, however the other option was Wolf would work outside the forces but there would be clashes between him and the others in the combined forces that might result in bloodshed. As Perri continues to theorise a knock on the door shakes him out of it as the door opens revealing Angelia who looks at Perri observing his watch.
Angelia: Commander Perri?
Perri: Yes Angelia what's happening?
Angelia: I got some info that Wolf had some important things to tell you.
Perri: You know if it's between me and Wolf then I'd recommend staying away from it.
Angelia: Well your right but since DEFY is basically our equivalent to the secret service we kind of need to know this stuff.
Perri: And how would Wolf feel knowing that your trying to peer into private conversations. Or a certain someone told you something that you weren't meant to know.
Angelia: Well...
Perri: Well how about you ask him instead of asking me.
Wolf: That's right.
She gets a jolt as she turns around to see Wolf and a apologetic AK, AK knew that she shouldn't have told Angelia anything but since she still had ties to her she needed to tell her about it. However Wolf caught wind of it and he wasn't furious and honestly not surprised. It was his reason why he didn't want to tell her anything about it however for AK it had an entire different meaning.
She broke his trust yet again repeating the same mistake she did before however Wolf looks at her with a sharp look of disappointment making her apologise for her actions but Wolf wasn't looking for an apology but an agreement. He didn't mind her reporting things back to Angelia but he wanted permission on details since this stuff was more sensitive than anything before. AK and Angelia take a seat as Wolf holds his hand out summoning the 2 big bags of files that make Perri and the rests eye sockets come out as Wolf turns to see the rest of the team at the door.
