Chapter 61 A DATE FOR TWO

News comes around the base that the two teams have managed to take back the naval base from the Sirens. The girls cheer and yell as the ones Anders orders to help secure the place, speed off waiting to see the naval base they hadn't seen in a long time. For some it was the first base they were stationed at and for some the last place they were before they evacuated from it. The combined forces have come a long way as Wolf walks into the Naval base with the Combined Forces flag as he heads to the command centre of the base.

The door was blown wide open all those years ago with the doors rotting away on the ground as nature took hold of them returning them to the earth, He steps on the steps to the door as he could see the smashed windows, destroyed walls with debris everywhere. He couldn't believe that they manage to take back the naval base that had been a thorn in the Combined Forces side for so long. A flashlight illuminates behind Wolf as AK and Davis was behind Wolf, The three head deeper inside.

The place wasn't used by the Sirens since it was littered with debris and cobwebs and dust, It had clearly been left to rot and decay away but now todays the day where it all changes. Wolf opens the old command room as the place looks majority intact. The screens were still in one piece and the furniture too, the only difference was that it was much older tech.

AK 12: So Wolf what are we looking for?

Wolf: Nothing really I was just curious to see what I could find. Oh wait that reminds me there might be another SHD node here. If I can activate it we can get more range on the network again.

AK 12: *laughs* Straight to the job again Wolf.

Davis: I'll get the others to keep patrol around the base for any incoming enemies.

Wolf: Sounds good oh and tell them to watch out for any allied boats since they should be coming sometime.

Davis: I guess command is in higher spirits than before?

Wolf: Yeah.

Davis leaves the old command room as the sounds of his footsteps get more distant while the two share a moment. They head down to the tech room and access the SHD node door but upon opening it they could see that someone had been here already. The servers were damaged with wires and broken bits on the ground just waiting to be fixed.

Wolf heads over to the main console and could see there is a huge gash in the middle of it as it flickers now and again trying to enter boot mode. The only person that could of accessed the room was a agent/ rogue agent but most of the SHD nodes are unknown to most of the people except the higher ups and Wolf. As he looks closer on the console he could see a note that read "To whoever keeps turning these on". 

He takes it off the desk and begins to read line after line, The writing sounded passive aggressive but it definitely wasn't written to not mean any harm but when he reaches the end of the note it had a name that he recognised.

Wolf: From.... Ella?

AK 12: So your sister destroyed this node?

Wolf: Guess so... maybe she's realised what I have been doing but even she shouldn't know about them.... this is really bad.

AK 12: She might destroy the other ones right?

Wolf: It's possible or maybe she found this one by chance.

Ever since his last encounter with his sister he is still worried for the day that he will have t fight her and take her down or get taken down with her. Both him and AK stare at the note in disbelief but return to their senses. They exit the Node room with the black safe door closing with clunking noises as each lock reengages.  They could hear feint helicopter blades cutting the air in the distance as they return back to the world above.
