CHAPTER 37 CROSSING THE LINE

The water splits as the ships crash through the waves as they sped towards the Vichya Dominion that is under attack by Iron Blood. République takes the lead instead of Wolf cause of one thing....Fear.

He knew exactly what Kurfurst was capable of after having taken down O-H and Riga he wasn't going to take any chances. The others follow behind in a V formation as they spearhead towards unknown dangers. They are not sure if it's just Iron Blood, They are not sure if the Vichya Dominion has fallen and they do not know if Kurfurst is there but one thing they are certain about..... It won't be easy. 

He radios République and asks him if he could see anybody at all but there was no one insight as he reports back. Something wasn't right to Wolf as his instincts kicked in thinking that maybe it could be an ambush or something bad had happened to the rest of the Dominion but the only way they would know is if they got some eyes so Wolf decides to get some eyes in the sky. He orders the three Aircraft Carriers Davis, Enterprise and Essex to send some planes out in hopes they would find anything that could tell them what had happened over there.

Wolf watches the planes go past as they chop through the cloud cover to try and give the team some info. He watches République's ship begin to accelerate even more making it hard for the battleships or aircraft carriers to keep up. Wolf was going to radio République to slow down but he knows why he is speeding up, He doesn't want to lose his brother again. Someone else steps in to tell him.

BP gave him a quick radio call telling him to slow down since she and the rest of the Cruisers could keep up with the speeds he was going at but as for Wolf and the rest they had no chance of catching up. He appreciated the concern from her but he didn't want it, he was too focused on his brother fighting Kurfurst. BP could only mutter under her breath in the most polite way she could as a maid but she knew that sometimes it required a more barbaric approach. 

He stops talking over the radio and continues to speed up, BP sighs but she gets the memo also. Wolf grabs his binoculars and looks to the distance but like before he couldn't see the Vichya Dominion yet. Wolf continues to mark stuff on the map including where they were relative to the Dominion however. Wolf hears a thud hit the outside of the bridge, then he hears a knock. He puts his pencil down and turns to check who was at the door. The door opens and a girl enters in, AK looked a bit worried at Wolf who was just charting a course but République was making it difficult due to changing course making it hard to map. 

She poses the question about Kurfurst if it was possible for them to defeat him let alone him. however he puts his mug down giving AK a firm "No we won't". AK stops and looks at Wolf a bit surprised from the sudden response. Usually Wolf is confident with everything he does but that sound and look of doubt in his face and his voice makes her worry. He was still not strong enough to kill Kurfurst and a confrontation now might be a death sentence. Wolf was scared of Kurfurst's presence which was a rare thing to see in Wolf. AK could tell Wolf was scared for once.

He looks at the bench and grips it firmly, he looks at the map as the pencil moves back and forth due to the rough seas. He looks to AK who is giving her worried face at Wolf that turns his face to a blank expression and he looks down.

Wolf: Yeah... a little.

AK waves her hands at him to clear the misunderstanding.

AK 12: No no it wasn't meant to make you feel bad or weak it's ju-

Wolf: No it's alright.... I know what you where getting at AK.... I just don't want to see the others get hurt, especially you.

She walks up to Wolf as he looks at her as she brushes her hair aside and whispers something inside of his ear that makes his eyes widen. He looks at her and smiles awkwardly which makes her do the same.
