Chapter 46 : Normal Nights
YN's POV
Looking at V, Who finally went to sleep, I smiled knowing we were getting close to the end goal. At Least my end goal, Which hopefully includes everyone else's though i'm not sure it will unfortunately.
Standing up I head outside to go home and make sure to close the door on my way out as I call up another Delamain and head back home and get some sleep as well.
Stretching as I stand up I decide to finally take care of Delamain and wipe my data from its servers, So I head towards my Netrunning Setup and Strip myself of my clothes to put on my Netrunning Gear ane hop on net and immediately see the shifting Blue's and Red's appear all over.
Shifting Toward The Delamain Subnet and immediately take note of the moving red and blue on the entirety of Subnet, Interestingly enough it's almost too easy to get through the I.C.E and Firewalls, Which worries me since someone else could of copied the files or straight up taken everything Delamain had in me, Which right now would be drive data, Possible Home's, and any other calculation or thing it decided to put into there.
Heading Towards the files you sort through the files and I don't see mine at all.
Sighing, I go back to my Subnet and boot out.
Looking up towards the ceiling as I lay on the Netrunning Chair I decided to just call up Delamain and straight up ask i can't track someone who skillfully took the Data throughout the entire net.
Delamain Picks up almost Immediately and says "Hello, Ms. LN, What can I do for you?"
"Let's skip the pleasantries we both know why we're here"
"Quite, Right, Ms.LN i presume you are inquiring about the Data Breach?" He states
"Mhm, You think you can tell me who stole em?"
"I cannot Ms.LN, However i can inform you that you don't need to worry, The Data is perfectly fine, The Data they stole was fake and had a trojan in it, Everyone's Data including yours is perfectly fine, Now may i request you do not trespass on my Subnet again, It Violates our code of conduct and further issues may cause us to cut ties with you, Have a good day Ms.LN" He states before hanging up
Staring wide eyed and in disbelief at the ceiling.
'Did a fucking A.I just insuitated i suck at Netrunning? The fuck'
Shaking my head I stand up and go take a shower and put on my night clothes and get ready to go to bed.
V's POV (Some Hours Later)
Takemura calls me and states hes ready to which i reply with a grumble, Cause the bastard woke me up, Unfortunately the parada's only gonna happen once, So i begrundingly get up and get ready and drive over to the Bazaar to be met with the site of him leaning on the railing.
"Mhm, V. Just in time" He says
"Aw, Goro? If you're here to jump, remember that there's help available. There's a 'round-the-clock hotline…"
"That is not funny… The parade will soon begin. I adjusted the data from Okada-san. I advise you to examine it yourself, Consider calling your Net Thief of a friend too, Could be useful" He states holding a chip over to me as i slot it in he starts explaining as it shows various overlooks and places to get to
"To begin with the malware works, truly! Much better than I anticipated. Our eyes and ears are in the guard room. I observed the CCTV, and I know where the sniper positions are. They are a trio. You must make each harmless... before they do the same to me. There are many ways to reach them. The first is nearby - he should not be a problem. The second is worse… You will have to climb. As for the third, he hides on the footbridge over the street. We are here... Hanako-sama's platform will stop here, close to the emergency exit we will use when all is done. From these points you will have a clear view of the parade. But the snipers will see things even better. If they notice you - BANG! No more thief. If this sounds dangerous, consider that I must leap to the float, enter through a window and meet Hanako-sama face-to-face. The last is what I fear the most. Is all this clear? Are you ready?" He explains
"Wait. If things go to shit, we got a backup plan?"
"What do you think? I am accused of betraying Arasaka. Soon I will try to confront the sister of the CEO in person. There are no backup plans. This one must work" He says
"Fine, Let me call YN first"
Ringing up YN im met with a groggy pair of E/C eyes and a slight scowl which softens when she sees me.
"Hey, We're ready to move on to the plan you down to help?"
"Yeah, Just give me a second" She says stifling a yawn and clearly stretching.
"Im gonna let Hana, Know though, So dont be surprised if she isnt surprised, Itll be better for everyone involved" She states
"Alright, Just dont let Takemura know you've been calling "Hanako-sama" "Hana" he might gut ya" I reply chuckling
Laughing she says "Sure thing, Send me the Location" as she turns the holo off and hangs up.
