The Weasley Twin's Best Friend (George Weasley x OC)

Chapter 16

Finally, it was the end of the school year.  This year, George was staying with Noah for the last couple of weeks of the summer holiday. During those two weeks, George and Noah's family were going to America. They were going to visit New York City and then Miami, Florida. But first and foremost, they were going to Beacon, New York, to visit her father's grave.

George was packing his things when he heard a knock on his door. 

"Hey, it's Noah."

"Come in, darling."

"You almost ready?"

"Just about, and done," George said packing his last article of clothing into his trunk. He levitated it down into the common room following close behind it, Noah behind him. 

"Aren't you excited?" George asked as they boarded the train to leave.

"Of course I am." 

"Then what gotten you down all of a sudden?"

"I don't know, maybe it's just visiting my dad and being back in my hometown after all these years, it's going to be hard for me."

"I know, sweetheart," George told her while enveloping her in a hug.

"Maybe I just won't go."

"You have to go. I know how important this trip is to you. Besides you have a full month with my family before we visit yours so you have some time to prepare yourself."

"Thank you, George. That helps."

"Hey, you know I love you, right?"

"Yes of course I know. I love you, George."

After seating themselves inside a compartment, they closed the door and cuddled next to each other on one side of the compartment and fell asleep in each other's arms. They slept right up until they came to a stop at King's Cross train station. 

Getting off the train and dragging their trunks behind them, they went to meet up with Mr. and Mrs. Weasley. Once there they also met up with Noah's parents, where they also found Cedric. They all greeted each other and then said their goodbyes, Noah leaving with the Weasleys, to their house.

Once they arrived, Molly showed Noah where she would be sleeping. They had put another bed in Ginny's room. Noah drug her trunk to the end of her bed and began unpacking some of her things. 

"Hello," Ginny said as she came into her bedroom and began unpacking her things.

"Hey, Ginny. I guess we're roommates for the next month."

"Is that a bad thing?"

"No. Not at all. I've been meaning to get to know you a little better."

"Why?"

"You're my boyfriend's little sister, why wouldn't I want to get to know you? Plus I'm friends with Fred and Ron, so there's another reason."

"What do you want to know?"

"I don't want to get to know you by asking questions. I just want to know who you are as a person, that's all."

"Well, how are you going to get to know me without asking questions?"

"By observing."

The two girls went downstairs and sat at the table for dinner. Once it was served they all dug in. Once they finished their dinner they began to head back upstairs. Noah and George walked up together behind everyone else just to have a moment together before heading to bed.
