A/N: A massive thank you to the wonderful SdeSenna for making the graphic for me. Love ya!

Seb took Savannah's hand and squeezed it.  He was finally beginning to feel nervous about the announcement. How would the fans react? How would the press react? Was he doing the right thing?

"You ok?" Sav asked him. He nodded but he didn't speak.

"When we get there we'll head through the FIA offices and out the back end of hospitality. We'll have more a chance of not being spotted that way," said Andrew Shovlin, the team's trackside engineering director, from the front passenger seat of the car. "We told the team last night and everyone is very excited to be working with you."

"I am excited too. I can't wait to get started," Seb said.

"Lewis is over the moon that it's you replacing him," said the blonde woman that was driving them. "In fact it was his idea that I drove Andrew to get you, he wanted me to tell you how very happy he is."

"Thanks Angela," Seb said. "Now tell me, is my friend Roscoe here this weekend?"

"He certainly is." Seb turned to Sav.

"Roscoe is Lewis's British Bulldog. He's a right character. I once gave him a squeaky ball and he kept Lewis awake half the night playing with it," he said with a big grin on his face. Savannah laughed.

"When we get to our hospitality there's a room been sorted for you, you'll be given a team shirt there, and our media manager, Richard, will catch up with you to brief you on what will be happening today."

"I can't believe there hasn't even been the slightest rumour that I've signed," Seb said.

"Everything was kept top secret," Andrew said. "Just like you asked."

The rest of the journey went quickly. Soon Angela had stopped the car by the turnstile and Andrew, Seb and Savannah jumped out. They quickly scanned their passes and made a beeline for the FIA offices.

Luckily no one was about. FP1 had just started. The sound of the cars could
be heard in the background.  Seb took Savannah's hand in his again.   Savannah wondered why he held her hand so often when they weren't "a thing" but she wasn't complaining.  She loved how safe it made her feel.

They exited the back of the FIA offices and along the back end of the paddock until they came to the back entrance of Mercedes.   Andrew showed them straight to the room that had been set aside for Seb to get changed in, and to keep a low profile in.

The press conference was scheduled for 4 at the track media centre. Seb would head over at exactly 4 once all the press had gathered there.

"I'll leave you to it for now. Toto will be over after FP1. And Richard I believe will be here in around half an hour. Can I get someone to bring you any drinks? Or any food?"

"An iced water would be great please. Sav?"

"A lemonade would be great if they have it thank you Andrew. If not a water is fine."

Andrew left, shutting the door behind him. Seb looked at Savannah.

"This is really happening isn't it?"

"It is. And you deserve it. You really do. You're a fantastic father to your kids, you gave up so much for them. And now you deserve this chance to win again."

"And it's all thanks to you!" He reached out and grabbed her around the waist, pulling her close to him. "Savannah Vettel, you are the most caring, good hearted, most beautiful woman ever to walk this earth."
