"Don't worry, about a thing,
'cause every little thing, gonna be all right. Singin', don't worry, about a thing,
'cause every little thing, gonna be all right."Savannah smiled weakly as Seb sang softly to her as they lay in bed. She knew he was trying to cheer her up but it would take more than his Bob Marley impression to do so.
Four days had gone by since her Nanna had passed away and the pain hadn't even begin to ease. She didn't know when it would.
Seb had managed to persuade her to travel to Belgium with him for the last race before summer break. He'd told her he didn't want to leave her and that he thought it would do her good to have a few days away without responsibilities.
He'd arranged for Heike and Norbert to stay over and look after the children. Eleanor and Clive had offered but Seb hadn't wanted to put too much on them. They needed to be there for Charlie.
"We have to get up soon," Savannah sighed. "I wish we didn't. I just want to stay here in this bed with you forever."
Seb ran his hand over her fourteen week bump. "Me too, but it's media day. Can't get out of it. You don't have to come if you don't want to. Stay in bed. Slob out! Then when I get back we can order pizza as long as you don't tell Antti."
"I want to come. I don't really want to be alone."
"As long as you feel up to it. I don't want you to feel overwhelmed."
He began to gently massage her belly. "How's my little one today?"
"Well, all good as far as I know."
"It was good to see him or her the other day wasn't it?" Savannah smiled. It had been good. For a short while she'd forgotten about her grief.
"Not long and we go for a gender scan. I can't wait to find out for sure but I'm pretty sure it's a girl," Seb told her.
"Why?"
"I don't know. I had a dream it was."
"Are you some kind of psychic now?"
"Hmm maybe. We'll see at the scan."
"Seb, you have a fifty fifty chance of being right." He laughed and leant in to kiss her softly.
"You don't mind us keeping it a secret a little longer?" Savannah asked him after they'd broke the kiss.
"No baby. If that's what you want."
"It just doesn't feel right announcing happy news at the moment. I just want to get the funeral out of the way first. And my bump is small enough to keep hidden."
"I understand. The funeral is only a week away, the scan a week after that. Maybe once we know what the baby is we can tell people."
"Yeah." Seb leant in and kissed her again.
"I was thinking." Kiss.
"Hmmmm, yeah?" Kiss.
"If it's a girl how about we give her the middle name Olivia? I mean it would be a great first name, but as we have an Oliver it could get complicated."
"I think that's a lovely idea Seb." More kisses.
"What about a first name?" she asked.
"I don't know. There's a few I like."
"Same. We'll have to compare lists."
They kissed for a few more minutes before the alarm on Seb's phone went off. He groaned loudly. "I don't want to get up now."
