Savannah's head was pounding and there was an incessant ringing in her ears. She tried to open her eyes, but she couldn't. She couldn't move at all. She could hear a voice through the ringing, a familiar voice singing to her.

"Don't worry, about a thing. 'Cause every little thing, gonna be all right."

She knew that voice. Who was it? She'd heard whoever it was singing that song to her before. She was hit by flashes in her mind of a man with the most amazing blue eyes and messy dark blonde curls. A man looking at her with love in his eyes. She saw him slipping a ring on her finger. She saw him making love to her on a moonlit beach with the waves lapping around them. Seb!

Everything came flooding back to her. Walking the dogs. Christian. Casey! Eva! She tried again to open her eyes but the pain was too bad. Then everything went quiet as she lost consciousness again.

The next time she became aware, she heard the sound of someone weeping. The pain in her head was still there but the ringing had stopped.

She soon realised that it was Seb crying. Why was he crying?

"Please wake up Sav. I can't take any more. I need to hear your voice. I need to know you're ok. I love you so much. I can't do this without you."

She tried to open her eyes. Her right eye slowly cooperated but her left was having none of it.

Everything was blurry at first but it soon came into focus. She was in what was unmistakably a hospital room. Seb was sat on a chair pulled up to the side of her bed. He had his head laid on the bed next to her hip, he was looking the other way.

She lifted her hand slightly and touched his blonde curls. "Seb," she gasped."

He shot upright, his head spinning around to look at her.

"Sav, oh thank God, thank God!," he exclaimed, grabbing hold of her hand. "How are you feeling? Should I get the doctor?"

"Sore as fuck," she groaned.

"I'll get the doctor," he said, jumping up.

"No, please, don't leave me." He sat back down.

"I won't."

"Christian! He took Casey. He took my little girl..."

"The police are out there looking. They know it's him. They have the van registration. They'll soon get her back."

"Eva?" Her other hand went to her bump.

"She's fine. They did an ultrasound. She's ok."

Savannah began to cry. "Baby, please don't cry. It will be ok. They'll get Casey back."

"What was he even doing here? Why does he hate me that much? He told me it's not over... he won't stop."

"He will get nowhere near any of you again. He's going down for a long time."

"What if he hurts her? What if I never see her again?" Her sobs intensified. Seb sat on the bed and gathered her into his arms.

"I'm here baby. She will be ok. They'll find her. She'll soon be back where she belongs." He held her until her sobs subsided.

"How long have I been unconcious?"

"I found you about four hours ago."

"You found me?"

"Antti and I went looking after your Grandad found Enzo outside his house. I found you in a ditch. Bruno was huddled up next to you. He was guarding you."
