A/N: From the title of the chapter and how the last chapter ended I think you can guess this one will contain violence. ⚠️

Seb sighed as he walked down the stairs the following morning. He was tired, so damn tired. He'd stayed awake most of the night second guessing himself. Should he meet Christian? Should he risk involving the police? In the end he'd stuck to his original decision. He would go to meet Christian alone. Involving the police would definitely put Casey's life at risk, and he wasn't willing to do that. At least he had a fighting chance against the brute.

That wasn't to say he was going in without a back up plan. He'd scheduled an email to be sent to Antti a quarter of an hour after the meeting was scheduled to take place. In the email he'd given Antti the address and told him to send the police there.

If Christian kept his word, Casey would be safe by then, and if Christian wanted to hurt him in that quarter of an hour he'd have a fight in his hands.

He heard a lot of noise coming from the kitchen. He headed in there. The kids were all sat around the dining table eating their breakfast. Clive was sat with them. Eleanor was leant back against the counter drinking a cup of coffee. He didn't know where Daisy was but he was glad she wasn't about. She might have tried to get a lift to the hospital with him, and he wasn't going there.

"Morning Dad," Myah greeted him.

"Morning Princess," he replied, ruffling her hair.

"Did you want some breakfast Seb?" Eleanor asked.

"No thanks Eleanor. I fancy a Sausage and Egg McMuffin. I'll get one on the way to the hospital." He wouldn't, he felt too sick to eat.

"Is Sav coming home today?" Heidi asked.

"I hope so," Seb replied, his heart breaking knowing that he probably wouldn't be here when Savannah did come home. He nearly broke down at the thought of never seeing her again, but he had to do this. He had to save little Casey. If it meant sacrificing himself, then so be it.

He looked at all the kids, maybe for the last time. At least he knew they would be loved with Savannah. She'd look after them and remind them every day just how much he loved them all.

He circled the table, kissing each one of them on the head. "I love you," he told them. Then he headed into the hallway and pulled his black leather jacket on over his navy T-shirt. This was it.

On the spur of the moment he grabbed the key to his Ferrari. If this was the last drive he was going to make he wanted it to be in that car.

He headed outside. It was a bright sunny day already. As he walked towards the garage he began to argue with himself again.

Call the police.

No, he'll kill Casey.

Take Antti.

No, he'll kill Casey.

Don't go.

He'll kill Casey.

He opened the garage door and unlocked his Ferrari.  As he climbed inside he remembered the night he and Savannah had gone out to dinner in the Ferrari.  It was the night they'd first kissed.

He started the car up and reversed out of the garage.   Leaving the garage door open, he headed down the driveway.  It was time.  Casey needed him. He wouldn't let her down.

Savannah picked up the slice of toast on her plate and took a bite out of it.   She had no appetite but she was forcing herself to eat for Eva's sake.   She couldn't help her other daughter but this she could do.
