Savannah shrieked excitedly and ran into her parents' arms. She hadn't seen them for nearly eight months and it was only now that she realised just how much she'd missed them.
"Oh Sav, it's so good to see you!" exclaimed Clive Matthews, hugging his daughter tightly.
"Oh Savannah, look at you! You're positively glowing!" said her mother, Eleanor.
"I've missed you both so much!"
Seb stood back near the doorway to Charlie and Olivia's lounge, letting Savannah have her moment with her parents.
"So I guess you're my brother in law then," said a tall, skinny, dark haired man. "I'm Sav's brother, Jack."
Seb held his hand out and they shook hands. "Good to finally meet you. I hear you're a Lewis fan."
"Yeah, gutted he's going, but there's no better replacement for him than you, and I'm not just saying that because you're family. I'm looking forward to seeing what you can do next season."
"Thanks. I'll try not to disappoint."
"Jack!!" Savannah came rushing over to hug her brother.
"Hey Savvy. Was just telling your husband I'm excited to see what he can do next season."
"Seb, come meet my parents!"
Seb nervously looked up at the couple that were stood slightly behind Savannah. "My father Clive, and my mother, Eleanor. Mum, Dad, meet Seb."
"Ah the famous Sepastinun," joked Clive. "I've heard a lot about you from my grandchildren." They shook hands. "Speaking of which...where are they?"
"They're back over home," Savannah said. "We thought it would get a bit crowded if we brought all five kids over, so we left them with Seb's parents. I thought it would be nice if you all come over there and meet everyone."
"That's a lovely idea," Eleanor said, as she pulled Seb into a hug. "Thank you for making my daughter happy Seb."
Seb hugged his mother in law back. He immediately saw where Savannah got her looks from. She was the image of her mother, although Eleanor's hair was a lot shorter than Savannah's.
"I can't believe all this has happened since we were away," said Savannah's Nana from the sofa. "We go away and get back to a new grandson in law and three new great grandchildren. It all happened so quickly."
"Well what can I say Olivia? I saw Sav trying to pick up her spilt vegetables and I was enchanted," Seb said.
Savannah beamed. Had Seb really fancied her from first sight? She'd certainly been attracted to him from the start.
"When are Joel and Daisy arriving?" Eleanor asked. "And are the twins coming too?"
"They'll be here tomorrow! And yes, Ellie-Mae and Alfie are coming. Casey and Max are so excited to see everyone."
Savannah didn't know who was more excited, the kids or herself. She couldn't wait to catch up with Daisy, and she knew Daisy couldn't wait to meet Seb, or "the Dilf" as she jokingly called him.
Seb watched Savannah come alive as she told her parents all about Australia and how much fun they'd all had.
After several minutes Savannah gave a big yawn. "Tired sweetheart?" her dad asked.
"Yeah, we only got back last night so we're still trying to adjust. The kids slept most of the way home so they're fine. I'm struggling, I'm not used to long haul flights."
