Chapter 40

"Mamiiiiii" Ruhi whined, Shehnaaz and Ruhi both were sitting on a table in some corner getting bored while having ice cream. The guests had started to leave but since they were the host they needed to stay till the very end until everyone leaves. "Haan baby kya hua?" she asked. "Bore ho raha hai mujhe" she continue whining. "Bore toh mujhe bhi ho raha hai yaar but kya kar sakte hai, waise bohot time ho gaya kal teri school hogi na?"
"Haan school toh hai aur mujhe nini bhi aa rahi hai..... mujhe please apke godi mei aana hai" she requested. "Aaja meri jaan, soo ja tu ..... thori deer mei phir ghar chale ge..... pata ny tere mama bhi kaha gayab ho gaye" she said looking around for Sidharth. Shehnaaz was patting her head softly while she took no less than a minute to pass out in her embrace, she again got the flash back of the media questions that was just running inside her head that she couldn't just take out. She was in her thoughts bluntly patting the sleeping Ruhi when Sidharth came there searching for her. "Mai tujhe kaha kaha dhund raha hu aur tu....." He was speaking so loud that could wake up the sleeping beauty in her arms. Shehnaaz placed her finger on her lips indicating him to be quite as their little Ruhi was sleeping. "Sorry!!" he mumbled and sat beside her. "Tuni dinner Kiya?" he asked keeping his tone as low and as audible as he can. "Haan Ruhi ke sath hi kar liya, tu ja na apne clients and friends ke pass. Mai akele sabse mil rahi thi tab se, thank god maa thi mere sath par phir vo bhi busy ho gai aur mai aur Ruhi bore ho gae teri iss party mei" she scoffed yawning. "Aww.... Meri jaan tujhe neend aa rahi hai?" he asked and she nodded. "Bas thori deer mei chalte hai ok" he quickly pecked her head and was about to move towards the leftover guest when a pair of arms hugged him tightly. "Sidhaaarrrthhhh!!" Tanya's shrilling voice woke Ruhi up, she irritatedly rubbed her eyes seeing a lean figured lady in a white bodycon dress with bright red lipstick and long hair tied in a high ponytail. "Mamiii churail" poor Ruhi got scared seeing Taniya for a moment and clutched her Mami tightly. Shehnaaz was already glaring the girl with utmost rage and anger but managed a smile on her face. "Koi ny bache kuch ny hai shhh.... it's ok" Shehnaaz rubbed Ruhi's arms hugging her tightly to calm her down. "Sidharth how have you been? kaise ho tum? And look at you handsome as always!!" she spoke in her shrill voice. "Oh! Hi, Taniya.... meet my wife Shehnaaz" he sensed the anger erupting inside her and he first thought to clear himself out of this situation in order to stay away from any of the unnecessary arguments. "What wife Sidharth? Yeh koi baat hue achanak se party aur usme announcement kar diya that you're married.... that's so not fair, kitni ladkiyon ka din tod diya tumne specially mera" she was whining ans getting all touchy. Ofcourse he tried his level best but jerking her away will be a little rude. "Ahmm.... Sidharth tuni bichari ka dil tod diya, ab tape dede usko vo jod legi.... ya mai tape du usse apne wala, usse toh bohot ache se dil jud jaye ga iska" her sarcasm and anger filled remake made him realize that if this Taniya stays here even a minute longer then she'll be going back home in two pieces.
Yuvi was there for Sidharth's rescue as soon as he saw Taniya talking with him. She had always tried something or the other ways to attract Sidharth from her actions or sometimes from her reviling clothes but that never worked, if she would have not been the daughter of one of his important clients then Sidharth would have already shown Taniya her actual place and given her a piece of mind. "Hi Taniya abhi party khatam ho rahi hai aur tu abhi aayi?" Yuvi said joining them in the conversation. "Hi Yuvi.....Abhi party khatam kaha hue hai abhi toh late night party start hoti hai, what say Sidharth?" she said running her hand on his chest, he saw Sana's expression turning dangerous. If it would not have been Ruhi in her arms right now, this Taniya would have been already on the floor for touching what's hers. "Taniya he's a married man now, I'm sure usko apni wife ke sath time spend karne mei zada intrest hoga instead of you" Yuvi said a little sternly this time. "Sidddhaarrrttth mai tumse baat kar rahi hu isse bolo chup rahe ga..... I think he's your friend but he's actually acting as your bodyguard right now" she whined again, she was testing Sana's patience now. "Oh hello Miss Taniya, ek toh you're here talking to Sidharth Shukla..... oh sorry flirting with Sidharth Shukla and that to right in front of his wife, you better stop it or my Bhabhi is no less than Sherni when it comes to fighting" Yuvi lashed out on her even he couldn't tolerate this woman in front of him.
"Ruhi bache yaha itne baate ho rahe hai apko neend kaise aaye ga let's go hum ghar chalte hai aaj ap mere sath chalo mai mumma ko bol dungi kal ek din chutti kar de apko waise bhi bohot tired lag rahe ho" she picked Ruhi in her arms and before leaving she stopped in front of Taniya "It was nice meeting you Miss....... whatever your name is, I hope not to see your face again until our baby's first birthday, I hope you'll join us then" she said wrapping one of her free arm around Sidharth clearly asking her to leave. "Chudail kahi ki" she scoffed as Taniya quietly left feeling insulted. "Waah Bhabhi kya sunaya uss Chudail ko.... sachi ki chudail hi hai vo" Yuvi said. "Haan par kuch logo ke aankhe aur muh dono hi kharab hai..... uske aati hi mano muh mei dahi jam jata hai kuch bol hi ny paate" she left with Ruhi and Yuvi to go back home. Sidharth kept standing there knowing he will surely have to take the couch for tonight.
"Baap re mere se zada khatarnak yeh hai.....agar Ruhi ny hoti ko ab tak iss Taniya ko khade rehne layak ny chorti yeh" he talked to himself in a state of shock.

Ruhi was sleeping hugging Shehnaaz and Coco was on the bed too. Sidharth quietly entered the room not wanting to wake them up, he saw Coco at his place, sleeping. "Isko uthane ke chakkar mei Shehnaaz uth jaye ge aur tereko room mei bhi sone ny mile ga it's better to sleep on the couch tonight" he thought grabbing his pillow from the bed which woke Coco up. He saw Sidharth, Sidharth saw it with his pleading eyes but then Coco jumped down and went on the couch, by this time Coco had understood that Sidharth didn't wanted him on the bed in between them while sleeping at night and it was actually obeying it with the unknown fact that basically it had made his job even more tough. "Abey yeh udhar ja kar soo gaya ab mai kya karu? bed par itni toh jagah ny hai ki mai fit aa pao..... zada awaz ki toh Shehnaaz uth jaye ge...  What is this God? Why always me?" he looked up thinking. He thought to adjust himself with whatever little space he has, without making a single noice he was slipping inside the duvet when Shehnaaz felt the movement and opened her eyes to see a grinning Sidharth staring at her nervously. "Tu kya kar raha hai yaha?" she whispered not wanting to wake that little angel up. "Kya Kar raha hu matlab mera room hai .....sone aaya hu hu" his voice was authoritative but deep down he was terrified of her. Her one glare and he got of the bed gulping the ball of saliva that was stuck in his throat. "Shehnaaz mai kaha sou phir meri jaan?" the authoritative voice was now converted into a pleading tone and his puppy eyes had took over his stern ones. "Tujhe jaha sona hai soo, yaha toh aaj sone ny hi mile ga..... ek kaam kar na apni vo Taniya ke pass ja kar soo ja thik hai? waise bhi jab vo bakwas kar rahi thi tab toh muh ny khula tera" she kept her voice as low as she could then indicated him towards the door asking him to leave. Sidharth harshly grabbed the pillow from the bed and sulking moved out the room to sleep in the room that was right beside theirs, where Shehnaaz used to stay as a tenant. "Kal batata hu isko.... sorry bol dunga par baat ny karu ga isse uske baad.... room se hi bahar nikal diya apne pati ko..... kya zulmi patni hai meri.... apun ki toh koi ejat ech ny hai" he was talking to himself while setting the bed and jumped on it laying on his stomach. Shehnaaz who herself couldn't sleep without him was standing on the window and was watching him murmuring something with his sulking face looking absolutely cute like a baby.
After an hour or so sleep was just not ready to engulf her, tossing and turning she was restless and she very well knew why. "Mujhe uske bina neend kaise aaye ge.... gandi wali aadat lag gai hai uski" she pouted sadly looking at his side of bed where Ruhi was sleeping peacefully. "Mai ek kaam karti hu abhi uske pass ja kar so jati hu neend mei usko pata bhi ny cahlega aur wapes subha mei usse gussa ho jao ge" she smiled and left the room but not before making sure that Ruhi was comfortably sleeping there. She tiptoed inside the room, slipped inside the sheets and hugged him. Habitually in his sleep Sidharth wrapped him arms around her and a little smiled played on his lips even when he was sleeping he could feel her presence. Soon she too went into deep slumber keeping her anger aside until next morning.
