Chapter 49

They were back from Punjab and it had been two weeks now, ever since then life had been so beautiful for Shehnaaz. She was having no nightmares thankfully. Sidharth had been way more protective towards her since then, he would not let her leave for the Cafe alone without the driver and the bodyguards would be guarding the 'Coffee Time' to make sure about her safety and will be somewhere around her in disguise all the time 24/7. Shehnaaz didn't complained about it as she knew he was doing it all out of love and concern that he has for her. Sidharth would try to be all romantic at times but every time he would try to do something Coco would appear out of nowhere being a romance spoiler, she found him so cute whenever he would be sulking about it like a small baby and all she could do was give him a sympathetic look. She realized that she never initiated or express verbally about her feelings, yes she started to feel for him and had realized that keeping it inside her will be of no use. She will say it out loud to him, even she don't know when this has to be done but she will for sure tell him that he has succeeded in winning her love with his purity and honestly. He gave her all the time she wanted, never crossed his line no matter what and now was the time to tell him, he deserves to know it all.

Sidharth was very grumpy since morning in his office, the constant fall in shares value with unknown reason was irritating him a lot while Shehnaaz was all happy and chirpy excited to confess after realizing her feelings. "Shehnaaaaz!! Shehnaaaaaz!! Kya hai yaar kaha hai tu?" he was yelling from the room, he just loved teasing her by calling her out for silly reasons and then see that small cute irritated face of hers. While she was cooking in the kitchen, she insisted Rita ji to let her cook dinner for tonight. His constantly shouting for her was getting on her nerves, already she was engrossed in cooking and he wanted her to come upstairs to him, she knew from his tone that he was teasing her and probably is calling her for no reason. She asked one of the cook to keep an eye in her absence not letting the food burn and went upstairs to see what was up with him "Kya kharish hai tujhe mai khana bana rahi hu na" she was standing unknowingly pointing a knife towards him which she was using a while ago. "Hayeee Raaam..... itni se baat ki liye tu apne pati ko chaku dikha rahi hai? itni se baat ke liye tu mujhe jaan se maarne aa gai?" he stepped away from her keeping a pillow in front of him as a shield, acting scared. Shehnaaz realised she was pointing the knife towards him, she kept it aside. "Haan maar dungi tujhe mai" she controlled but a slight smile crept on her face seeing him acting all silly. "Jaan toh tere hi pass hai already ab kya chahiye tujhe mere se?" he pulled her towards him locking her between his arms keeping the pillow aside.  "Aur ek baat bata jaise mai office jata hu waise tu bhi toh sara din Cafe mei rehti hai phir khana banane ki kya zarurat hai haan?" all his grumpiness would always vanish with a few minutes of her presence, he was trying to be all romantic with her, moving away the loose strand of her hair behind her ear and wiping away her cheeks which has a tomato seed since she was busy cutting tomatoes in the kitchen when he had called. "Vo kya hai Bebu tu office jata hai mai bhi Cafe jaati..... tu thak jata hai par mai ny thakti pata hai kyu?" she asked shying away from him looking towards the floor. "Kyu?" he whispered near her ears with his husky voice trying to sound sexy. "Ankhe band kar phir batao ge" she whispered back making him smirk and closed his eyes. "Kyuki tu bohot bada wala alsi hai aur mai ny hu" she quickly pecked his lips giggling she got out of his hold and ran away, leaving him all red and smiling like a fool. This was the first time she kissed him, not exactly a kiss but a peck on his lips which was more than enough for him. He touched his lips smiling sheepishly and scratched the nape of his neck, feeling just like any other teenager would feel after getting his first kiss, "Pagal ho gaya hu mai pura iss ladki ke pichhe" he talked to himself and went downstairs.
The dinner was outstanding of course and Sidharth who's actually a diet conscious person over ate and was more than full. After a great dinner he had to look after some business related stuff which was something he so wanted to avoid because of all the stress it causes but he can't. He was busy analysing what was causing the fall in the value of their stocks when Shehnaaz and Coco entered the room playing and running around, he asked them to stop but they didn't pay attention to him and it was annoying him by each passing second. "Yeh kya bachpana hai yaar" he bellowed. Shehnaaz and Coco stood still at it's places, she didn't like his tone at all and someone shouting at her or even on someone else has always affected her. "Ek bar bola na awaz mat karo, kuch important hai isliye bola hai na" he continued yelling. Shehnaaz along with Coco left the room with her teary eyes banging the door shut showing she was mad. He sighed rubbing his temple, he just couldn't control but yell at her for nothing. He messed up and he'll have to apologise, yelling or getting irritated is not the right way to make them stop, he could have requested more politely but he chose to do the other way. Before he could go behind her a call from the office stopped him, he had to attend the call as it was important.

"Abhi tak manane bhi ny aaya.... par vo abhi kuch din se stressed bhi lag raha hai bola bhi tha usne ki office mei tention chal raha hai. Par phir bhi usne chillaya kyu usko pata hai mujhe affect karta hai kitna..... par meri bhi toh galti hai usne 2 bar ache se bola masti na karne ko phir bhi tuni dhyan ny diya, koi na Sana abhi ke liye gussa chor aur uske pass ja kar so ja already tension hai usko" Shehnaaz was in the next room with Coco waiting for him but to her dismay he didn't came to check on her, she understands what he might be going through because of which she kept her anger aside and decided to go back to their room. He was sitting on the bed rubbing his forehead which felt like it would burst out anytime soon. She sighed and walked up to him, pulled him out of the bed and indicated him to sit down on the floor. He did as he was told seeing her dictative eyes, she pulled out the bottle of oil from the drawer of the side table, made herself comfortable on the bed and started massaging his head making his entire body realx. Her fingers worked like magic on his head, he let out a relieving sigh telling her he was enjoying it which brought a huge grin on her face. After half an hour of his relaxing massage he was so relaxed that all he wanted was to cuddle her and sleep. She was about to enter the washroom to wash her oily hands when Sidharth pulled her back embracing her in her arms and placing a kiss on her head, "Thank You Meri Jaan" he mumbled and she smiled with the feeling of contentment but then realized she was supposed be anger on him. "Haan bas ho gaya.... zada free mat ho mai abhi bhi gussa hu toh chup karke soo ja apna jo kaam hai kal office mei karna ab ja jaldi chup karke" she moved away and pointed towards the bed, he pouted exactly like she does and went to bed. She chuckled under her breath and went inside to get ready for bed, she came out and found him sleeping hugging a pillow like a baby, his baby, she thought. She removed the pillow from his hold and placed herself in the place of it.

Few days passed by, Sidharth would go early and would come back home late due to which they were almost not spending time together at all, his grumpiness was there and she would always try her best to understand him. She would talk only when he's in a mood of any conversation which was usually short nowadays, she would listen to him quietly, would not whine about things and would try to be as supportive as much as she could. Coco was a smart dog to understand what was up and even he would not annoy him as much. It was their one month anniversary today, Shehnaaz had planned a small dinner date for him nothing extraordinary. She had decided to confess her love today for him, she was thinking about all that having her breakfast when she heard him leaving hurriedly for his office, "Bye Shehnaaz.... Mai nikalta hu breakfast office ke canteen se kar lunga" he was hastily moving out of the main door when he stopped listening to what she said, "Bye take care, love you" she widened her eyes when she realized what she said in a flow. "Shehnaaz did you said something?" he asked hoping to hear it again. "Ha...haan .... I said Bye take care, miss you" she replied trying to be as casual as she can, she can't say it now, it was to be said tonight. "Miss you?" he questioned being suspicious, he can't hear that 'Love' word wrong. "Vo tu aaj kal busy rehta hai na time hi ny milta tujhe isiliye tujhe mai miss karti hu" she gave a logical answer to his question. "Acha.... thik hai, Chal I'm leaving aur kal Sunday hai toh kal pakka no kaam aur tere sath time spend karu ga" he smiled and left, still somewhere not satisfied with her answer. "Thank God" she sighed and continued eating.
