                                   *Emma's POV*

The next two days passed quickly. Joey stayed with me at my house because I didn't want to be alone. Even though my Mom and I were okay now, I still felt like there were ghosts in the house. Joey and I were outside a lot, playing soccer and running. To be better, today was the day that Mom was supposed to come home!

I was sitting on the couch, watching soccer, when the phone rang. I got up and picked it up. "Hello?" I answered. "Hello, Emma, this is Nurse Vincent. We want to keep your mother for at least another week. We just want to be careful." I cleared my throat. "Okay," I said, and hung up. I was disappointed, but I wanted her to heal, and stay healed. I sat back on the couch, where Joey was still sitting. I sat down next to him and snuggled into his shoulder. "Who was that?" He asked. "A nurse. They are keeping Mom for another week." Joey drew me into his chest, wrapping me in his embrace. "Do you want to do anything?" I looked up at him. "Can we go to the mall? I need to find a dress for graduation." He groaned, but good-natured. I went upstairs to grab my purse, slipped on my flip flops, and went out to the car, pulling Joey behind me. "We should go to the mall in Cornfield. It's smaller, but we are less likely to see someone we know." I nodded. "It's fine. They have a Macy's there." We drove to the mall, singing loudly to the radio and laughing,

When we got to the mall, I headed straight to Macy's. I looked through the racks, Joey trailing slowly behind me. "How about this one?" I turned to find Joey holding the skankiest dress I had ever seen.  It was black, and sow low cut, it came below the boobs and showed the stomach. In the back, It was completely see through until the butt, but you could still see some crack if you put it on. It was insanely short. "Put that back," I said, giggling. I grabbed a blue one I saw. It was blue sparkly on the bodice, with a sash around the waist, and flowy tulle material on the bottom. It came down to mid-thigh. "I'm going to try this on," I told Joey. "Come show me," he said. I went into the dressing room and put it on. It was beautiful, and fit me perfectly. I walked out to show Joey. When he saw me, his jaw hit the floor. "Oh my god. Emma..." His eyes were bugging out of his head. I did a twirl. "You like?" I asked. Joey just nodded. "I'm going to get it," I said. I walked back into the dressing room to change. I put my shorts and tee back on and grabbed the dress. I went to the checkout dress to pay. I was about to bring out my cash when someone reached around me and dropped cash onto the counter. "Joey..." I complained. "No. I'm paying," He said with a final nod. The cashier gave me the dress in a bag. I had the nicest boyfriend ever. We drove back home, and watched movies for the rest of the night.

A/N: Sorry all of these are in Emma's POV! I just find it easier, at this point in the story, to write in her perspective. Some new people might come into the next chapter, and maybe, someone old? OOOOOooHHHHHHhhh :) Pic of Emma's Dress to side>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
