Chapter 18: Tower invitation

Jason POV:

I wake up early in the morning by the sound of what sound like armor attaching together. I realize I'm not rested on top of Eramis anymore and I'm just laying on the bed. I begrudgingly get up from the bed to I can look to see if Eramis is here.

She's near the right side of the room finishing attaching her cloak back onto her back. I decide I should probably get back up to and I jump off the bed. I see my underwear in front of me and I put it on. I look over to see Eramis walking towards the entrance of the room but she looks toward the bed to see me not there. She then looks around to see me and lock eyes with me.

Eramis:" How did you sleep my mate?"

Jason:" Good, how about you?"

Eramis:" Better than I can explain. I will await you to be ready at the exit to Kells rising, we will discuss future plans for the house there"

Jason:" okay I'll be there"

She then walks off and I'm left there watching her leave. I snap out of it and try to decide if I should wear my armor or not. I decide to change it up a bit and I use my vault to grab some normal clothing. I grab some gray sweatpants and I grab a black T-shirt and grab my Jacket Cayde-6 gifted me awhile ago during the Dawning.

(Imagine this but the greenish parts are blue like the hunter symbol)

I walk out of the entrance and head towards the exit of Kells rising. I arrive to see Eramis standing there waiting for me leaning against a wall. I walk up and greet her by waving at her.

Eramis:" That's a new outfit"

Jason: "I though to change it up form wearing armor everywhere"

Eramis:" it suits you well~...come, we will discuss with the other lieutenants what we should do with the rise in vex at Gales Watch"

I nod to her and we begin to walk towards Gales watch and she's now walking closer to me than before. I don't mind the slightest, it might not have been the best idea to wear a jacket on Europa but I'll survive.

We make it at Gales Watch to be meet with the other Lieutenants standing at various points throughout the room.

All:" My kell"

Eramis:" We're here to discuss rising Vex activity on House territory. Praksis, do you have that vex transponder Jorviks gave to you?"

Praksis:" Yes Eramis, I haven't been able to figure out a way to increase the radius to which vex won't be able to teleport though"

Jason:"What does it even do?"

Praksis:" It interferes with the vex signal and stops them from being able to teleport within its range. Effectively stopping any Vex activity within it. I only have it's range within Riis-Reborn so they don't attack the house"

Jason:" I think I may have a solution... but I don't think you'll like it"

Eramis:" what is it?"

Jason:" Ikora, she's the Warlock vanguard and she's good with this type of stuff like Vex and Hive technologies"

Eramis:" So you'd need to travel back to the... tower"

Anytime the tower or traveler is mentioned she gets very angry and I can't really blame her. But we need this if we want it stop the vex on Europa.

Jason:" I know you don't like it but it's our best chance, no one else knows this stuff like Ikora"

Eramis:" If it's the only way then we do it.

Jason: " Ghost can you call and tell Ikora of our visit so they don't shoot us"

Ghost:" On it"

Jason:" thank you, now... who will come with?"

Eramis:" Praksis and me will come with you, Phylaks and Kridis will be in command until my return is that understood"

Kridis:" Yes my kell"

Ghost:" I told the vanguard of our arrival and they agreed to help with the Vex technology on one condition. Zavala wishes to speak with you and Eramis Jason"

Jason:" there's the catch... we'll it could be worse. You ready?"

Eramis:" We will leave in 1 hour get the vex transponder ready for travel Praksis"

Praksis: "yes my kell"

Eramis:" I'll get a ketch pilot ready be here in an hour"
