Jace was in a little Velaryon blue shirt, Daeron was in hightower green and Vaera and Haezel were in the most sparkiest of red and black dresses. Draeya carried Haezel around, the good big sister as Haezel babbled happily.

"This was a lovely idea." Alicent remarked kindly as she came up to Davina.

"It really was." Davina agreed.

"Thank you." Alicent whispered and Davina glanced down at her. "For... everything." Davina waited for more of an explanation. "I... this year wasnt good." Alicent remarked. "I spoke with the maester and he said it was post partum depression." Alicent informed her. "It's when-"

"I know what it is." Davina assured. After the birth some women had an overwhelming sadness consuming them, nothing could make them happy, sometimes even the sight of their child would make them sad or mad.

"I was having some not so good thoughts. I thought it best to stay away from them all." Alicent remarked softly. "I'm doing better now.' She assured. "But I'm grateful that they had you." Alicent informed her. "I will try to do better, be a better mom and a better person." Alicent informed her. "So this, combined name day... its really sweet."

"I like the littles," Davina assured. "Take your time. I get it, do you need anything?"

"I'm alright..." Alicent told her unconvincingly.

"I'm happy to help." Davina offered kindly.

"Thank you, Davina." Davina watched Alicent walk away, she had no clue. None whatsoever. She knew that ALicent and Rhaenyra hadnt gotten along so Alicent not being around didnt really phase Davina.

Davina realized how alone Alicent must have felt. Her father gone, she couldnt bare to be around her children with the thoughts in her head. A husband that she didnt trust enough to talk to about such things. Davina looked to Rhaenyra. So happy and oblivious. Clearly Alicent didnt want Rhaenyra to know, didn't want anyone to know.

"You alright?" Harwin asked passing her a cookie.

"Yeah, I just have to try and be a good person." Davina remarked. "Tomorrow." She added with a wink.

"You are a great person." Harwin countered.

"Ookie!" Vaera declared licking at her lips as Draeya helped her eat.

"Oh no are you going to be my cookie monster?" Davina asked kissing their heads.

"Ookie!" Vaera declared.

"onster?" Haezel asked.

"The cookie monster, the devourer of cookies." Davina told her and Haezel brought another piece of the cookie to her lips crumbs slipping out of her mouth as she chewed.

Davina looked to Daeron, he smiled back at her. She had yet to hear him talk but he had the biggest of eyes and Davina thought him just darling. But Jace and Daeron seemed to be butting heads constantly.

Davina thought it was entirely Jace's fault. Jace liked attention and would nudge Daeron out of the way and make him cry which only gave Daeron more attention. Viserys plan for them to be buddies was failing.

Vaera and Haezel were having a conversation between their bites of cookies. Harwin stared back at them as the babbled and babbled. He could see it now, the sisters would be inseparable. Talking constantly, getting into trouble as Davina did and trading gossip as it looked like they were doing now. Haezel's little arms waved around as Vaera nodded shoving another cookie in her mouth before babbling back a response.

"Cookie." Davina offered handing one over to Criston. "I think you can take an hour off and lose the I'm on duty stance." She remarked Criston took the cookie from her. "Besides everyone already knows that Draeya beat your ass to the ground." Davina added with a smirk as she walked off.

"You give me food and then insult me." Criston called after her.

"Why do you think I gave you the cookie?" Davina mused. "Your ego is wounded you need a cookie."

Criston wondered about Rhaenyra's offer when they were younger, when he saw Davina and Harwin together.

But then again Rhaenyra was no Davina. Rhaenyra ignored Criston's existence while Davina it seemed like their friendship had grown. Criston also noticed that Davina didnt have many girl friends. She got on great with the knights and guards, Rhaenyra and the children but he didnt see her with any friends of her own. Yet she seemed content.

When transferred to Alicent's service he felt like he got a promotion but lost his mates in the process.  Harwin and Criston were friendly but Harwin more enjoyed when Draeya was beating Criston up.

"Stop staring at my wife." Harwin warned and Criston's eyes turned down to the half eaten cookie in his hand.

"You are lucky Strong." Criston remarked. Harwin had kept his honor, gained a family and Criston knew that was something he could never have for himself. He looked to Jace, he assumed Gael Strong was the father, the way Gael favored Rhaenyra and Jace.

"I am." Harwin agreed. "Now eat your cookie and stop staring at Davina."
