"First steps, first steps, first steps." Davina declared reaching out for Valyria. "Come to mama!"
Harwin chuckled as Draeya, Haenry and Aemond came in breaking Valyria's concentration and she plopped back down on her butt.
"No!" Davina whined crawling to Valyria. "Try again, you can do it."
Rhaegar smiled back at her as Draeya picked him up. She started humming as she rocked Rhaegar in her arms.
"Best big sister." Harwin remarked running a hand through her hair.
"Okay, try again." Davina instructed holding to Valyrias hands and helping her stand. "Okay, ready? go." Davina coed letting go with one hand but Valyria gripped tight to the other. "You can do it, my brave girl, strong girl." Davina coed, Haenyra came up behind her and drummed his fingers on Davina's head. She wrapped her free hand around and squeezed his leg.
"Mama, we are 8 next moon." Haenry reminded her.
"Yes I know I was there." Davina agreed.
"We were thinking..." Haenry added slowly and Draeya scoffed as she handed Rhaegar off to Aemond.
"Let me do it." Draeya instructed.
"Yes let her do it' Harwin agreed.
"Mama we don't want a party, we want to compete in the tourney." Draeya informed her confidently.
"Can we have a party anyways?" Davina countered.
"Both?" Draeya negotiated. Davina looked to Harwin.
"Oh, you letting me be the bad guy?" Harwin mused.
"You train them. What do you think?" Davina corrected.
"No, mama you are boss.' Draeya reminded her softly.
"I am." Davina agreed smiling back at Harwin. "But Daddy is important, we love daddy, without him I wouldnt have you all." Draeya thought on that. "Be nicer to daddy, thats an order." Davina instructed.
"Really?" Draeya whispered.
"Yes really. Go hug him and tell him hes wonderful and you love him." Davina instructed. Harwin snorted a laugh as Draeya came up to him hugging him.
"It doesnt count if she is only being nice because you say so." Harwin countered.
"You are wonderful and I love you." Draeya informed him honestly.
"Is this what love and affection feels like from Draeya?" Harwin mused picking her up. "I like it." Harwin declared hugging her tight. She laughed out as his beard tickled her cheek.
"So is that a yes?" Haenry asked hopefully.
"Ask daddy." Davina repeated. Haenry ran up to him but Harwin was having too much fun making Draeya laugh.
Draeya was stubborn and he knew she loved him. But all the kids were more affectionate with Davina, as was to be expected. But he saw Draeya getting older and taller and wanted her to stay his little girl forever.
"Let's see how you do at training." Harwin countered ruffling Haenry's hair.
"Me too mama dav?" Aemond requested as Rhaegar gave him big sloppy kisses.
"Harwin is in charge of that." Davina repeated pulling Aemond and Rhaegar into her lap. "AHHHH!" Davina declared and Harwin thought there was a spider with how she was screaming. Valyria took a step and another and then she was running and falling into Davina laughing.
"YOU DID IT!" Davina declared happily.
