Enid's pov:

Currently I'm pacing around my floor. Why? Because I'm finally getting a roommate! Sure most people would kill to have their own dorms but I love people and I live for those types of friendships that can only come from sharing a space with one another. I've spent the whole day making sure all my stuff was on one side of the room that way my new roomie has plenty of room to set up her stuff. So far I haven't heard much about her, I only know her name is Wednesday. What a beautiful name

Wednesday's pov:

Currently I'm walking up the stairs to my new room where my mother thinks I'll be spending the next two years. The only thing on my mind is how to escape. Perhaps my new roommate can help, I'm sure she'd be dying to have her own room again anyways.

Enid's pov:

I'm sitting on my bed reading a magazine when finally I hear the door open.
-"And this is your new roommate!"
I hear principal Weems say as she steps into the room. I'm ready to make a good impression but am suddenly caught off guard. A small girl, roughly 5'1 steps into the room, she's pale. Like really pale and yet her lips are plump and full pink. Her hair is blacker than oil and is styled into two long braids that fall just above her waist. She's weird so...why am I suddenly feeling very flustered??
-"H-howdy roomie!"
I manage to exclaim. "Howdy"?? Why'd I say howdy!?

Wednesday's pov:

When I walked into the room I only noticed one thing, color. Color certainly brightens up a room and I hate it, but soon a second thing caught my eye. My new roommate. She's wearing a pink sweater with light orange stripes, her hair is a little shorter than shoulder length and appears to be white...wait no, it has blue and pink tips. Her eyes are a nice shade of blue, what a pity. I also notice she seems to be nervous. Her heart rate has increased, her palms appear to be sweaty, and her cheeks seem awfully red as though someone had slapped her. She's smiling awkwardly. I glance around the room and start feeling nauseous from all the color.
-"Are you ok?"
Enid asks, seemingly concerned.
"It's the color, Wednesdays allergic"
my mother says. Enid looks concerned
-"what happens?"
She asks worriedly. How amusing.
-"I break out in hives and the flesh peels off my bones"
I say. She gulps and nervously backs up. Principal Weems then interrupts,
-"which is why we've ordered Wednesday her own special uniform"
She says with a smile. I roll my eyes. Enid is still standing there awkwardly looking at me with a weird smile.

Enid's pov:

Wednesday isn't quite what I expected, but I'm not disappointed. I'm still sure me and her can develop a close life long friendship. In fact because she's so closed off it only makes me more determined to be her friend. Principle Weems sent us out of the room to pick up Wednesdays uniform and schedule so I've decided to walk close to Wednesday. I'm trying not to be rude but it's hard not to look at her. Her face is so serious and her lips are so full which makes it kinda funny since she's always pouting. She looks tired though and so...lifeless.
-"why are you staring?"
I hear Wednesday suddenly ask. I blushed from embarrassment.
-"ah no reason sorry, I didn't mean too"
I manage to stutter nervously. Luckily she decides to ignore my stares and I try harder not to look. Finally at the office Wednesday gets her uniform and schedule. I'm waiting outside the bathrooms for Wednesday since she's changing into her new uniform.

(Wednesday steps out of the restroom in her new uniform)

Wednesday looks so...just so...adorable! I mean that purely in a friendly way of course. She looks like an angry school girl. Her uniform isn't much different from mine the only difference is the colors, instead of blue and black stripes her uniform has gray and black stripes.

Wednesday's pov:

Sadly the uniform fits perfect and isn't uncomfortable at all. Plus it matches my apparent color scheme. I notice Enid staring as though she is at a loss for words.
-"what?"
I ask, Watching as she quickly snaps out of her daze.
-"Ah! Sorry, the uniform looks really great Wednesday!"
She says awkwardly with a smile. Clearly I do not look good, luckily my looks aren't much of a priority.
-"thanks"
I reply dryly.
-"how about I give you a tour of the school?"
Enid suggests.
-"that won't be necessary"
I reply. Me and her continue walking around anyways though as an unofficial tour. We walk until we reach an outdoor area where dozens of kids are casually socializing and Enid presides to give me a rundown of everyone.
-"Nevermore has all different flavors of outcasts but there are four main groups"
Says Enid.
-"fangs, furries, scales, and stoners"
My mind is officially boggled. Stoners are outcasts??
-"furries are werewolves, like me!"
Says Enid cheerfully as she gestures towards some rowdy kids howling at a table.
-"your a werewolf?"
I ask, trying to hide my surprise.
-"shocking huh?"
She replies jokingly with a slight laugh. I notice how the sun reflects beautifully off her white hair when she laughs, it's....interesting.
-"next up are your fangs, which are vampires, obvi. Then we have scales which are-"
-"sirens"
I say, interrupting her.
-"wow you catch on quick"
She says playfully with a smirk. Suddenly a tall boy walks up to us.
-"dude I just read about your new roommate, she totally killed a kid at her old school, be careful bro"
He said.
-"actually it was two but who's counting"
I said, scaring him. He then looked at me and his eyes widened.
-"woah your totally in black and white!"
He says stunned. Enid quickly began pushing him away, I assume so I wouldn't be uncomfortable with his comments.
-"but she's like a living instagram filter!"
He exclaims, sounding like an idiot.
-"ok! Bye!"
Enid says, still shooing him away.
-"don't mind him, he's just been on the internet a bit too much. He's cute but totally clueless"
She says with a loving sigh. Oh so I guess the wolf does have a crush. Not that it matters to me but I didn't think she'd be the type to fall for idiots. I then notice principle Weems waving me over to say bye to my parents. I take another look at Enid.
-"bye."
I say, and quietly walk off.
-"oh! Um bye! See ya later Wednesday!"
She yells, frantically waving.
