Wednesday's pov:

Enid:
-'ok Wens'
-'love you'
-'oh! The others say thanks btw'

I smile as I look at the messages and tuck my phone into my pocket as I walk down the staircase.
-"ready for breakfast my love?"
My dad asks. Pugsley's already sitting at the table, eagerly waiting for his food to be served.
-"why aren't you at school?"
I ask. He looks at me confused then smiles.
-"I'm on winter break"
He says, taking a sip of his orange juice.
-"it was actually quite perfect timing darling since your school closed for the year"
My mother says with a smile as she sits down.
-"oh"
I reply as Lurch pours some coffee into my cup.

A few moments later Lurch comes out with our plates. He sets down waffles with a blackberry sauce and chocolate drizzle in front of me along with 2 pieces of bacon.
-"looks delicious, thank you"
I say, readying my fork.
-"thanks lurch!"
My brother says with a forkful of pancakes in his mouth.
-"delicious as always"
-"yes everything looks to die for"
My mother says with a smile as she cuts into her Crepes.

-"so Wednesday deary, how was your night? We heard you on the phone with one of your little friends"
-"my night was actually really good. I now have a girlfriend"
I reply, taking a bite of my waffles. My father begins choking on his eggs and my brother nearly spits out his orange juice. My mother seems taken aback as well but like always she remains more composed.
-"is something wrong?"
I ask annoyedly.
-"not at all amica mea!"
My dad exclaims.

-"of course not we were just quite surprised, I mean it was just the other day where you weren't even sure she liked you back"
My mother chimes in. I nod my head.
-"very true. I suppose it was quite sudden"
-"huh!?? Am I the only one who's lost?? What'd I miss!?"
My brother exclaims.
-"oh. Yes I suppose I didn't tell you about my crush"
Pugsley slightly grabs onto my moms sleeve.
-"m-mom w-when did Wednesday start having...f-feelings??"
He asks, almost sounding genuinely scared. I glare at him and my dad awkwardly laughs.

-"Pugsley...your sisters always had feelings she just- hm...she just has her own way of showing and dealing with them"
My dad clarifies as I ask Lurch for a refill on my coffee.
-"oh I almost forgot to ask"
-"what is it honey?"
-"can I have some friends over for the holidays?"
I ask.
-"I get to meet Wednesday friends??"
Pugsley asks, excitedly.
-"but of course! How many?"
My father happily asks.
-"well I want to invite 6 people but I don't know how many can actually come yet"
My father nods as he takes a sip of his mimosa.
-"6 should be ok"
He says.
-"how long do you plan on having them stay?"
My mother asks.

-"about a week"
My mom nods.
-"do they need transportation?"
-"it'd be appreciated"
I reply.
-"ah come on Tish, let the girl have some fun. Don't worry sweetheart we can pay for everyone's travel expenses. Consider it an early Christmas present"
He says with a smile. My mom smiles and lightly chuckles.
-"so it's ok"
I ask.
-"well since your father says so"
My mom replies.

Enid's pov:

-"knock knock"
I hear my brother say as he taps on my door.
-"what do ya want Chase?"
I ask as I flip through a magazine. He opens my door.
-"come on loser, we're headed to the mall"
-"all of us?"
-"yeah dad said he'd drop us off, so hurry up and get dressed. The tweebs are already ready and Oliver's getting ready right now"
-"alright, I'll be down soon"
I reply as he closes my door.

I go through my closet and throw on some clothes. I head to the bathroom and do my makeup real quick and I'm all ready to go.
-"Enid! Oliver! What takes so long??"
I hear Chase yell from down stairs.
-"gotta look presentable, duh!"
Me and Oliver yell back, practically in unison. Oliver smiles at me and then continues to style his hair. Soon we finish up and race to the car.

-"do all you kids have money?"
My father asks, looking at the backseat to see me and my brothers. We all nod. He smiles.
-"ok I'll be back around 5 to pick you guys up"
-"aww daddd"
Danny whines.
-"ah ah Ah thats almost 3 hours Mr. That's plenty of time"
My dad replies, starting the car.

Wednesday's pov:

ME:
-'hello Xavier'

Xavier:
-'ah Wednesday! Good to finally hear from you'

ME:
-'yes I suppose I should've texted sooner'

Xavier:
-'eh no harm'
-'what's up?'

ME:
-'I was wondering if you have Eugene's number'

Xavier:
-'oh.'
-'nah but I can get it from Ajax'

ME:
-'please and thank you'

Xavier:
-'was there anything else or did you really just text me for Eugene? 😕'

ME:
-'right. I was wondering if you'd like to come visit for the holidays'

Xavier:
-'I knew you'd warm up to me Wednesday 😁😏'
-'when should I come?'

I roll my eyes as I read his texts.

ME:
-'in 2 weeks'
-'do you need transportation?'

Xavier:
-'nahh'
-'my dad should have it covered'
-'oh, here's Eugene's number btw'

ME:
-'thank you'

Xavier:
-'np'
-'sooo is it just gonna be us two? 😏'

ME:
-'no'
-'I've invited Enid, Bianca, Yoko, and Ajax as well'
-'I'll also be inviting Eugene'

Xavier:
-'oh'
-'eh not the romantic atmosphere I was hoping for but whatever, ya win some ya lose some 🤷🏻'

I decide to ignore his texts and message Eugene.

ME:
-'hello Eugene'
-'it's Wednesday'

Eugene:
-'Wednesday!'
-'I'm so glad to hear from you'
-'how've ya been?'

ME:
-'quite fantastic actually'
-'me and Enid are officially a couple :)'

Eugene:
-'omg that's amazing!'
-'congratulations'

ME:
-'thank you but that's not the reason I texted'
-'I was wondering if you'd like to visit for the holidays?'

Eugene:
-'I'd love to but idk what my moms would say'

ME:
-'I'd pay for everything'

Eugene:
-'😂'
-'well thanks Wednesday that's very generous of you but that's not the issue'
-'I don't think they'd like me spending Christmas away from them'

ME:
-'oh.'
-'well how 'bout you come after Christmas?'
-'like the 26th or 27th?'

Eugene:
-'fr??'

ME:
-'yes of course'
-'I've invited the others too so you'll be getting here a little later than everyone else but that should be no big deal'

Eugene:
-'ah is Enid staying for new year's? 😏'

ME:
-'no? What's special about new years'

Eugene:
-'couples share a kiss at midnight'
-'duh'

ME:
-'ok if that's the case than I officially have the dates all figured out for the trip'

Eugene:
-'ok, what'll that be?'

ME:
-'the 21st to the second'
-'but for you it'll be the 27 to the second'

Eugene:
-'alright my moms said that sounds good'

ME:
-'do you need me to buy your plane ticket?'

Eugene:
-'no no that won't be necessary'
-'I appreciate the offer tho'
-'is the hotel and everything already set or will we be staying at your place?'

ME:
-'we'll all just be staying at my place'

Eugene:
-'ok sounds great'
-'thanks again for inviting me'

ME:
-'well of course Eugene'
-'your practically like my best friend'
