Opposites attract

Movie night

Enid's pov:

I wake up and like normal Wednesday is quietly working on her novel.
-"morning sunshine!"
I greet her with a smile. She turns to me, her eyes filled with tired anger.
-"n-not a morning person?"
Without a response she turns away and begins typing again. I guess she's had a long night. I can't blame her for being in a bad mood, the dance was a disaster AND Eugene's now in the hospital.
-"I'll go get you a bagel and some coffee"
I say with a sympathetic smile as I leave the room. As I'm walking to the cafeteria I see Ajax. We talk a bit and before he leaves we kiss again. I happily grab Wednesday's bagel and coffee and skip back to the room.
-"hey I'm back"
I say handing her the food. She looks down at it then back up at me.
-"thank you."
She says and starts typing again.
-"soooo Wednesday"
-"yes?"
-"me and Ajax wanted to do a little movie night tonight and were wondering if we could do it here?"
Suddenly Wednesday's typing stops. The room stays quiet.
-"tonight?"
Wednesday asks, with a new tone in her voice.
-"y-yeah"
-"that's fine"
She starts typing again.
-"thank you so much Wendy!"
I say running over to hug her. She quickly pushes me off.
-"ugh what have I said about calling me that?"
I laugh a bit from embarrassment.
-"right sorry"
I say from the floor.
-"you going to class today?"
-"I don't plan on it"
She says, still not looking at me.
-"oh ok well I'll see ya later then"
I say with a slight wave but she doesn't bother looking up.
-"y-yeah..ok..."
I say putting my head down as I disappointedly walk out of the room.

Wednesday's pov:

I sigh and Thing hops on my desk.
*why are you being mean to Enid?*
He asks.
-"it's not that I mean to but it's hard, I don't know why I'm acting so cold. Perhaps it's my possible feelings for her?"
*wednesday..she's your friend. If these feelings are bothering you you should just tell her*
-"I can handle it on my own"
Thing places his hand on mine caringly.
*talk to her*
I sigh.
-"fine..later tonight I will"
I look down at the coffee she got me, on the cup there's some writing:

      "Don't spend all day writing! Go visit Eugene or something
                       Have a good day tho!
                                                 -love, Enid."

I smile lightly as I take a sip from the coffee.

Enid's pov:

It's about 7:30 and I'm setting up my side of the room for movie night. I've got my comfiest blankets, a bowl of chips, a bowl of popcorn, and my laptop is already set for the movie. There's no sign of Wednesday though...probably for the best. I wouldn't want her to feel left out while me and Ajax are acting all couple like.

Wednesday's pov:

Ok I have what I want to say all planned out. It's a little after 8:30 so she should be in the room. I walk upstairs and hesitate as I reach the door. Thing gives me a thumbs up and I take a deep breath.
-"Enid-"
Quickly I freeze in horror. Before my eyes there I see Enid and Ajax making out on the floor, wrapping in her blankets. My heart drops and my chest tightens.
-"w-Wednesday?"
I hear Enid say but I quickly slam the door. Thing tries to ask what's wrong but I ignore him. I don't cry. I can't cry! But tears start falling from my eyes. Why does this hurt so badly?
