Joseph Crackstone (pt.2)

Enid's pov:

-"I can't believe you didn't tell me"
I say turning to Ajax. We're in a secret library that's apparently been under Poe's state since forever.
-"because...we'll you know, it's a secret"
He says with an awkward smile and a slight shrug.
-"nevermind that, if Wednesday's right and this is what's coming, we need to protect and evacuate everyone from the school"
Bianca says, emerging from the shadows with who I can only assume to be the other nightshades as she holds up Rowens picture.

-"Yoko?"
I ask. Yoko gives me an awkward smile and a slight wave.
-"unbelievable"
I mutter, mostly to myself.
"Enid"
Bianca says giving me a tired look.
-"fine fine, I'll be talking to you two later though"
I say with a glare as a point at Ajax and Yoko.
-"understood"
Yoko says with a smile as as walks closer to Bianca.
-"but how do we get everyone out?"
Bianca thinks for a moment.
-"we'll use our siren song to convince 'em"
She says to the only other sirens in the room. They nod in agreement.

-"Thing and I will go look for Wednesday"
I say with a smile as I pick up Thing from the floor. Everyone smiles, nods, then snaps twice, including Thing who is chilling on my hand.
-"seriously!? A secret snap too?"
I say as I turn to glare at Ajax again. Again he musters an awkward smile.
-"oh we are so talking later"
I say, exiting the library.

Wednesday's pov:

My vision's getting foggy. I don't think I have enough physical or mental strength to survive. Suddenly Goodie appears, but it's not a vision, she's actually here. She looks over me and places her hands over mine where I'm holding my wound.
-"Crackstone must be stabbed through his black heart"
She says. Suddenly using any last bit of mental capacity I have I feel anger.
-"is your SPECTRAL VISION impaired!? I'm dying!"
I try to yell. She just looks at me.
-"your necklace"
She says.

Is she not listening to me? Can she not see the blood oozing out of me!?
-"is a powerful talisman"
She continues. I look down at the necklace my mother had given me.
-"it will allow me to pass through you and heal you"
Oh. Ok so I guess this was much more useful then I had thought. I reach to take the necklace off.
-"just know that once I do you will never see me again"
She says. I think for a moment not about weather to do it or not but about how I will miss her once she's gone.

I give her a slight nod which she returns. She then places one hand on my shoulder, and with the other she begins to pull out the knife still lodged in my stomach. She quickly grabs my hands and places it in my now empty wound as I scrunch my face in pain. Suddenly I sit up gasping for air. Goodie's no longer with me, my wounds are sealed up as if they had never been there, and I'm no longer in pain.

Enid's pov:

I begin running though the woods to find Wednesday quicker but soon collapse from pain.
-"s-sorry Thing"
I grunt as I try to pick myself up from the floor. I feel on top of my head and realize there are ears, I look down at my hands and realize there's hair all over them. Holy shit is this actually happening right now!? Suddenly my hands start to grow larger and it hurts.
-"oh my god, oh my god, oh my god!"
I yell as the rest of my bones start to dislocate until I let out one final scream.
