Opposites attract

Good morning Cousin Itt

Enid's pov:

-"Enid"
I hear a voice say. I turn on my stomach and burry my face in my pillow. I feel someone wrap their arms around me and feel as they kiss from my shoulders to my neck. It's Wednesday. I can tell from her lovely smell of burnt cinnamon and vanilla.
-"are you awake?"
She asks. I laugh a bit and turn to look at her.
-"mmm no"
I reply, stretching out a bit. She kisses a spot on my neck again. I laugh a bit as she holds my hands and rests her head on my shoulder.
-"why are you being so affectionate today?"
I ask. She doesn't reply for a moment.
-"Wednesday?"
I ask, sitting up. She rolls over so she's laying beside me instead of on me.

-"today is the first day of the tournament"
She replies.
-"ohh"
Honestly I've kinda been dreading this since last night. I just really hope the rest of her family isn't like her aunt and uncle. She rolls over and nuzzles on my arm, I look down at her and smile.
-"I wish we could just stay in here, I'd rather not deal with my families competition's today"
She says.
-"you said there's multiple right? What are we doing today?"
She thinks for a moment.
-"pie eating and dancing I believe"
Ok this shouldn't be too hard. Wednesday sits up again.
-"there will be games and food though so don't worry it's not like we'll be in serious competition today, it might even be fun for you"
She says.
-"oh but not for the too cool Wednesday Addams?"
I reply teasingly.

Wednesday's pov:

Enid's only about and inch from my face so I lean closer till our noses are touching.
-"precisely"
I reply with a slight smile as I lock our lips into a kiss. She laughs and pushes me off but her face is a bright red.
-"it's a little too early for that, what time does everything start?"
She asks. I look down at my phone.
-"we've got about 2 more hours"
I reply.
-"so shower if you want and breakfast is already ready so I'll go get the others"
-"just let me get dressed real quick and I'll come with"
She says, jumping off the bed.

We meet up with the others and begin our descent down the staircase. I clear my throat.
-"so now that I think about it there's a good chance some of my family may already be down there, hopefully their not too much for you all but also today's competitions will be dance and our eating"
-"which me and Bianca are gonna destroy y'all at"
Xavier replies, giving Bianca a fist bump.
-"you two are gonna be dance partners?"
I ask, folding my arms.
-"what's the matter Addams scared we're gonna beat you?"
Bianca asks.
-"not at all, me and Enid could beat you guys easily. And I could beat you in my sleep Bianca"
I reply, whispering the last bit to her. She growls and crosses her arms.

-"guess we'll find out today"
She replies.
-"indeed"
We enter the dinning room and it's surprisingly empty. Only my mom and cousin Itt are in there.
-"ah good morning sweetie"
My mother replies, passing Itt another cup off coffee.
*ahh Wednesday! It's so great to see you again! My how you've grown! And who are your little friends?*
He asks. The others look at me confused.
-"this is Enid Sinclair, Xavier Thorpe, Bianca Barkley, Yoko Tanaka, and Ajax Petropolus"
I say, gesturing towards everyone.
-"everyone, this is cousin Itt"

Enid's pov:

I gulp as I look down at the little...um..person? Ok Wednesdays family is a LOT weirder than I had previously thought.
-"um hi, nice to meet you"
I reply with a wave. He makes some weird high pitched noises and bows?
-"he says it's a pleasure to meet you"
Wednesday translates.
-"o-oh"
We all sit down and Mrs Addams passes out pastries.
Her cousin makes more noises and me and the rest of the group share a confused look.
-"he wants to know who's all competing and in what"
Wednesday says.
-"ohhh"
We all reply, practically in unison. I know Wednesdays talented but I wonder how she can understand him?

-"I'm doing pie eating AND dancing today"
Xavier replies.
-"I'll just be doing dancing"
Bianca says.
-"just pie eating"
Yoko says with a thumbs up and rubbing her stomach.
-"I wasn't sure if I was gonna compete in anything but maybe pie eating"
Ajax say, Xavier smiles and pats him on the back.
-"I'll be participating in both events"
I say and the her cousin nods.
-"ah! Children!"
Wednesday's father exclaims, entering the room.
-"we've just finished setting up so feel free and go outside to take a look!"
He say, giving Mrs. Addams a kiss.

We all nod and dash out of the room.

Wednesday's pov:

*is that the girl?*
Itt asks. I sigh and place a hand to my face.
-"I suppose mother and father have already informed you?"
*no no!*
I give him an unamused look.
*ok maybe they brought it up*
I sigh. I'm not in the mood.
*she seems really nice though! I think you've picked a good one, you know it's hard to find good people nowadays*
I smile a bit. Itt always sees the best in people so I'm glad he approves of Enid. So far most of my family seems be be supportive even uncle Fester surprisingly!

-"thank you"
I reply. He nods.
*have fun and the competitions, and tell your friends I wish them luck!*
-"will do!"
I reply, leaving the room to meet everyone outside.

Itt's pov:

I take another sip of coffee and sigh happily to myself. I'm so happy Wednesdays finally found someone, and such a sweet girl too.
