Enid's pov:

-"wow Wednesday your town's pretty pastel huh?"
Bianca asks, looking around and the brightly colored shops.
-"quite. It's honestly terrible to look at"
Wednesday says, refusing to look at all the shops lined up.
-"can we stop?"
Ajax asks, looking like an excited puppy as he gazes at some of the shops. Wednesday shakes her head.
-"we're going to get fencing uniforms, then we're going to the mall"
She replies.
-"what are we going to the mall for again?"
Xavier asks, pulling down his sunglasses a bit.

-"I promised I'd buy Enid new clothes"
He frowns and looks over at me annoyedly. I put my head down a bit from embarrassment. Wednesday really doesn't have to buy me anything, he doesn't have to be so salty. We soon arrive at a store that seems to be dedicated to fencing gear. Wednesday looks at me and frowns a bit.
-"so...Enid...you're gonna have to complete against my family in just about every event, unless you lose a lot"
-"don't worry Wens, I'm totally a pro"
I say, pulling out a spear. Wednesday takes it from me and puts it back.

-"I don't believe you understand, my family WILL hurt you"
-"they seem nice though"
I reply, confused.
-"just competitive right? I'm sure they wouldn't mean too"
Wednesday shakes her head.
-"No Enid they would. Their going to be especially hard on you because of our relationship. Their already thinking of marriage and all that stuff so they wanna test if you'd be a good Addams"
I feel my face burn up and I stop listening as Wednesday continues talking. I just keep thinking.

I mean could you imagine...me, an Addams. Enid Addams...Wednesday Sinclair? Hmm well the last names aren't my fav but it doesn't matter, just the thought of me and Wednesday ACTUALLY being together for the rest of our lives is a thought I could savor in forever. My thoughts are interrupted when Xavier throws a helmet at me.
-"en garde"
He says jokingly. I just roll my eyes and pick up the helmet. It's a pastel pink color, really cute actually.

-"oh perfect. That helmet will go great with the rest of the outfit I picked out for you"
Wednesday says, already carrying a bunch of clothes.
-"care to try it all on?"
-"of course!"
I reply, she then takes me to the dressing rooms.

Wednesday's pov:

I wait outside of the dressing rooms for a few minutes, sitting on a bench until I see the door to Enid's dressing room begin to open.
-"how do I look?"
She asks, fully dressed but still carrying her headgear in her hand. She's wearing a light blue "jacket", a light pink plastron, light blue knickers, and her gloves are a light pink. Along with the helmet it looks perfect. It suits her really well.
-"Dios mío, nunca he visto una chica más hermosa"
I whisper under my breath as I look at her. She looks at me confused and tilts her head.

I clear my throat from embarrassment.
-"you look fine. It's just a suit after all"
-"I suppose"
She says with a shrug.
-"so how much do I owe ya for this?"
-"oh absolutely nothing, it's my fault for forgetting about the tournament anyways"
I reply.
-"really Wednesday are you sure?"
-"absolutely"
She nods and heads back to the dressing room to change into her regular clothing.

-"what a cutie huh?"
Yoko says, popping out of nowhere, her arm on my shoulder. I look at her, confused as to where she came from. She just looks at me with a smile.
-"yes Enid is quite adorable, though I don't know how I feel about you calling her that"
-"chillax Wens, she's just a friend"
Yoko replies with a laugh. I think for a moment.
-"...do you know Enid's friend Emma?"
Yoko looks at me blankly for a second.
-"um no actually, I don't. I'm not even sure I've heard her mention an 'Emma' before"

Perhaps that's a good thing? If Enid's not telling others about her then maybe their friendship isn't that close. That's good...
