Wednesday's pov:

There's a knock at the door and Enid throws her pillow at it. Tiredly I get up to answer the door, still in my clothes from the previous night. It's the fencing coach.
-"morning Wednesday"
He says with a slight bow.
-"morning"
I say returning the gesture.
-"Vice principal Noor would like all students to meet down at the quad in 20 minutes"
-"huh I didn't even know we had a vice principal"

-"yes well Weems was always very hands on so there wasn't much need for Mrs. Noor to be involved"
-"makes sense I suppose. Me and Enid will be there"
He smiles and nods than leaves.

I pick up Enid's pillow from the floor and throw it back at her.
-"apparently our vice principal would like to see us"
I say.
-"like us US??"
She questions.
-"no no, she wants to see all students down at the quad, I assume she has an announcement"
-"ohh ok that makes sense"
She says sliding out of bed.
-"well ok, go get changed"
She says.

-"huh?"
I ask confused and she gives me an annoyed mom look.
-"your still in your clothes from last night"
I look down at my outfit.
-"oh."
-"yeah so go get changed, I'll grab us some coffees"
She says guiding me to the bathroom.

Enid's pov:

-"b-but your leg!"
Wednesday whines in protest. I roll my eyes.
-"Wednesday it doesn't even hurt, I'm sure I can grab us some coffees just fine"
-"but!"
I shove her in the bathroom and close the door"
-"this isn't over Sinclair"
I hear her say through the door. I laugh a bit.
-"just get dressed, we don't got all day"
I reply.
-"No getting coffee. You get changed to"
-"fineee"
I reply.

A few minutes pass and Wednesday steps out.
-"shall we get going?"
She asks, pointing at the door. I smile and nod.

Wednesday's pov:

-"as I'm sure by now most of you have heard about principal Weems untimely death"
The vice principal says, starting off her speech and there's an instant murmur amongst the students. I put my head down. I'm the reason she's gone.
-"but she will live on in our hearts! I will be taking on the new roll as principal here. I have contacted all of your parents about last nights events and me and the rest of the Nevermore faculty have decided it'd be best to end the school year now and return next year"

The students burst out in booing sounds.
-"I'm sorry but this decision has already been finalized, you all will return home tomorrow. Enjoy your extended summer"
The new principal says with a slight shrug as she exits the stage.

Enid's pov:

I make eye contact with Ajax as Mrs. Noor finishes her speech and nod so he knows I see him. I know me and him need to talk and it's basically now or never. I place my hand on Wednesday's shoulder.
-"hey I'm gonna go talk to Ajax real quick, meet up later?"
Wednesday nods then walks off. I meet Ajax behind the greenhouse, where our first date was supposed to be.

-"Ajax I-"
Suddenly I'm wrapped in a tight hug.
-"what's wrong?"
I ask. Ajax releases me from the hug. He smiles a bit.
-"I figured you probably needed a hug though..I don't think I could've done a better job than I dunno...Wednesday?"
He says, leaning against a pillar looking up at me with a saddened smile. I frown a bit and he sighs.

-"I-I really did like you Ajax!"
-"I know, don't worry I don't think this could've been prevented. Maybe I coulda done some things different but inevitably this woulda been the same outcome"
He says with a shrug.
-"so...we're breaking up?"
I ask, a bit sad. He smiles at me and tussles my hair.
-"don't worry Enid, we'll still stay close friends. I mean if that's what you want of course. Your a great girl and I'd hate to lose you"
I smile as I look up at him.
-"I'd hate to lose you too Ajax"

He smiles again and then laughs a bit.
-"sooo Wednesday huh?"
He asks and I feel myself begin to blush.
-"ughh is it THAT obvious??"
I ask, burying my face in my hands. He laughs.
-"yeahhh 'lil bit"
He replies. I look up at him and he's still smiling a bit.
-"did you tell her yet?"
He asks.

-"I almost did last night but chickened out"
-"you should tell her"
I look at him confused a bit.
-"I was skeptical of you two at first...so I decided to keep an eye on how y'all interacted. Sorry if I acted like a douch but I also needed to see how you felt about her as well. After a while I realized you two are...oddly kinda perfect for each other"
He says with a slight laugh.
-"how long have you known!"
I ask hitting his arm. He laughs again.
-"since parents weekend"
-"damn so kinda for a while huh..?"
-"yeah, sorry"

-"no I'm sorry, I was just confused but-"
-"but Wednesday's the better match. I get it"
Ugh this makes me feel terrible.
-"just confess to her alright? And make sure to tell me how it goes"
He says with a slight wave as he leaves.

Wednesday's pov:

-"Eugene!"
I say entering the beehive.
-"oh! Hey Wednesday"
Eugene says cheerfully with a wave as he stands up.
-"do you still like Enid?"
I ask. He laughs a bit.
-"well that's random but no. I thought I did but I'd say I've gotten over it"
-"good."
-"how come?"

I place my hands on Eugene's shoulders.
-"I think I like Enid"
-"oh shit."
He replies wide eyed. Clearly he wasn't expecting me to say this.
-"um ok so how long have you-"
-"since the Rave'N"
I quickly reply. He laughs a bit.
-"well that's nice, y'all are cute together"
-"she's with Ajax"
I say.

-"I mean yeah I guess"
He replies.
-"but I do wanna tell her how I feel...your my only other friend here at Nevermore so any advice?"
-"oh Wednesday that's so not true. You've got plenty of friends! Though I'm honored you came to me"
He thinks for a moment.
-"I mean Enid's nice and y'all seem to have a pretty solid friendship, just tell her. I don't think you really need my advice on how"
He says with a shrug.

I roll my eyes.
-"Eugene..hmm fine I'll keep that in mind but I'll see if Yoko has any advice"
-"fair enough, see ya around Wednesday!"
Eugene says as I exit the shed.

-"Yoko Tanaka"
I say bursting through the door. There on the bed I see a startled Bianca and Yoko.
-"oh. Am I interrupting something...?"
-"well kinda"
Bianca mumbles.
-"I'll leave, I just wanted Yoko's advice on something but it can wait"
-"Wednesday Addams wants MY advice on something?? Oh no you can stay"
Yoko says, pulling me back. I look down at Bianca wondering if I should tell her to leave.

-"so what's up?"
Yoko asks.
-"...it's about Enid"
-"you finally gonna confess or what?"
Bianca says, nonchalantly taking a sip of water. Me and Yoko both look at her shocked and confused.
-"what?"
Bianca asks, confused as to why we're both looking at her.
-"um anyways so what was it about Enid Wednesday?"
Yoko asks, facing me again.

-"I-well...Bianca kinda guessed it right in the dot. I think I like Enid and I wanna tell her"
Yoko's face lights up and she screams excitedly, scaring both me AND Bianca. Yoko grabs Bianca and pulls her to the opposite side of the room where they whisper amongst themselves for ka minute. Yoko turns to face me again.
-"alright Mrs. Addams we'll help"
-"huh?"
-"but first we need to know your intentions with our girl"
Bianca chimes in.
-"what?"

-"what is it you want with her?"
Yoko asks.
-"nothing! I just wish to get my feeling off my chest. I know she's with Ajax so I just wanna move on"
-"oh"
They both reply in unison.
-"well in that case just go right out and tell her, you don't really need our advice on that"
Yoko says. I sigh.
-"Eugene said the same thing, thanks for your..I guess help"
I say looking at the two girls.
-"well go back to whatever I interrupted"
I say with a slight smile as I leave the room.
