Once in a Lifetime

Chapter 60

"Bella?" Bulong niya. Akala ko naman tulog na siya.

"Yeah?" Idinilat ko yung isa kong mata.

"I have to tell you something." Seryosong sabi niya na nakapagpakaba naman sakin. Hindi ako sumagot, inangat ko ang ulo ko para tingnan siya. Pinaglalaruan niya yung buhok ko habang nakatingin sa kung saan.

"When we weren't together, I had a dream.. actually it's a nightmare."

"You always have a nightmare."

"It's different... It was worse." Napabuntong hininga siya, napakunot naman ang noo ko. May mas worse pa ba sa panaginip niya na pinatay ang mom niya?

"What do you mean? What happened to your mom?" I asked.

"It wasn't my mom, it was you... Daemon shot you and... I was there..." Hindi niya matuloy yung sasabihin niya.

"Tell me."

"I was there and I can't move. You keep on asking me to help you but... I tried to move but my feet can't. Then I woke up, I was glad that it was just a dream... I don't know what would I do if that ever happens to you." I can't imagine myself in that situation, no.. I don't want to be in that situation, no one wants to be neither. It must be hard for him, why does he have to dream like that always? It's like life was torturing him.

"That will never happened." I assured him, I'm not sure of it though. No one can tell what would happen tonight, tomorrow or the next day... I just hope that it won't happen.

"It's not impossible, Bella. Your life will always be in danger when you are with me." He says. I hate it when he say those things, it feels like he would leave me anytime soon.

"You aren't going to leave me, are you?" I asked nervously.

"I won't unless if your life is at risk."

"I hate it when you act like this." Bakit pakiramdam ko iiwan na naman niya ulit ako? I hate this, I hate this kind of feeling. Pakiramdam ko hindi ako makahinga.

"You are my life now and I don't know what would I do if there is something bad happened to you because of me. I would rather lose you in that way than losing you for the rest of my life." Sabi niya ng nakatingin sa mata ko.

"I can't lose you in any other way. Please, don't leave me." I pleaded.

"I can't promise you that..."

"Oh god!" Wala na akong masabi, hindi ko alam sasabihin ko. Ayokong iwan niya ulit ako, binigay ko na lahat ng meron ako.

"You know that I will always find a way to come back to you, right? I can't promise that I won't leave you but I promise that I'll always come back to you. We don't know what would happened tomorrow, and if Daemon finds out that we're together, I have no idea what would he do but I'm sure it was worse than I thought. He always have a way to ruin me, and he can do that by using you... He knows that I'm miserable without you." Naramdaman ko nalang ang pagpatak ng luha sa mata ko. Alam kong naramdaman niya yo'n dahil sa chest niya bumabagsak yung luha ko. Inangat niya yung ulo ko at pinunasan yung luha ko.

"I love you so much, I will do anything for you... to keep you safe." Niyakap ko na lang siya ng sobrang higpit, gano'n din naman siya.

"I love you, Jarvis. More than anything or anyone. I wish we could stay like this forever."

"Forever only exist in fairy tales, we are in real world where forever doesn't exist. It's the truth, Bella. Not everything can happen according to what we want it to be, because this is real life. In every beginning there is an end. I can die anytime now, that's how my life runs even though I don't want it. It's a life battle, I have to fight just to live."
