The train sped fast across the snow covered plains of Keralia. Speeding past the road right next to it as steam puffed up into the sky. The ride was smooth say for a few bumps here and there, though Emperor Alexander had expected as much from taking an alternative route and though miss Oculus had told him to not go before, the Emperor was not convinced. After all, the outcome of the future is determined by the actions of the present, Precogs just provide a means from which to see those future and allow those in the present to pick which future they so please. The Emperor drank some coffee served by his butler while listening to a radio nearby. The aroma of the coffee certainly causing him to wish for some chocolate doughnuts.

Just then however, one of the soldiers accompanying the Emperor walked up to his cabin, knocked on the door and opened it.
"My Emperor, we're nearing the frontlines now." He said.
"Just a couple hours more till we get to the next train station."

Emperor Alexander gave a nod.
"Good, please do get me more chocolate doughnuts and some hot chocolate as well."

The soldier gave a nod and went off to get the Emperor's order.

Alexander took a deep breath as he looked out the window to his right. The sight of many trees and open plains passing him by was satisfying in its own way.
The Emperor chuckled a little, reminiscing on the moments in his life similar to this. From the diplomatic missions to other nations to simply traveling across the Empire in his free time, Alexander certainly has seen many such moments. He has lived for a very long time and has seen a great many changes over his lifetime, yet the Empire needs him now more then ever. It was war after all.

Yet as the train was moving by the fields and coming over to cross a bridge, the Emperor spotted something ahead. A pair of 2 Archedian soldiers were standing over by the bushes and as they saw the train rapidly approaching, they immediately ran into the nearby treeline, attempting to hide.

This sight confused Alexander who finished his cup of coffee and chocolate doughnuts. Now he simply awaited for more to come his way.

Yet as his train made it to the bridge, Alexander heard something loud, as though a loudspeaker had just picked on the loudest noise possible. Not long after that, the Emperor found himself holding on to his seat as the ground began to shake and up ahead, he could see fire engulfing the locomotive and many of the cars in the front.
It didn't take long for the Emperor to figure out what was happening.

One of the Archedian troops ran up and opened the door to the Emperor's cabin.
"My Emperor! There's been a bomb planted by the bridge, the locomotive is gone, please come with us to safety! Your personal car has been following close by!"

Before Alexander could say anything, bullets started hitting the remaining train cars, though most of them were rifle rounds and thus were easily deflected by the armor present in all the cars, it was still a terrifying experience as Alexander got out of his cabin and crawled out in an attempt not to get hit.

Outside, half a dozen Partisan squads emerged from their concealed positions and started firing as well. A few even started throwing grenades taken from deceased Archedians.

Suddenly, Partisans wearing Archedian uniforms as disguises joined in as well. Having dispatch the original railway guards themselves.
Throwing off their hats and unbuttoning their uniforms to signal to their comrades that they were on their side.

As bullets hit the train, Archedian soldiers inside took cover, smashing windows that had been broken by bullets cracking them and firing back. Aiming and carefully dispatching some and wounding others. The sound of gunfire echoing across the open plains and giving flight to the birds in the area.

As his soldiers protected his escape, Alexander and a squad of his troops rushed to the nearest exit. As they reached the door leading outside, one of the soldiers attempted to open it by smashing it open with the full weight on his body.
