I walked downstairs and found cabir and navya talking, seeing me they ran up to me as I walked in the kitchen to wash my bowl

"Yes" I siad seeing them staring

"How is he" cabir asked

"He is okay I guess"

"Nandini be honest with me"

"Cabir he is trying to be okay, he is trying to not break down in front of any of us. He is hurt about something and he is hurt about hurting you. He is blaming himself for making you cry"

"I don't know how to make him understand he isn't bothering me"

"If you look at it from his point of view he is right. He loves you cabir so of course he feels that way"

"I get that but he is my brother nandini, its not like I'm doing him a favour or anything. how do I make him okay" he said sitting down

sighing I sat beside him

"Cabir he has to break into millions so that he pick up those millions and become one again. He is keeping so much in, resorting to cigarettes, or alcohol isn't healthy at all. So for him to become 'okay' in your language he has to heal. I see a lot of pain in his eyes, I don't know why or the cause of pain but I know that until he lets go it he is gonna hurt"

as I explained, cabir nodded

"He will be okay right" he asked

"He will be okay, he is a grinch cabir, my grinch of course he is gonna bounce back" I siad and both of them laughed

"Girl you are one of a kind" navya said

"Woh toh mai hu"

navya put her hand on cabin's and I winked at her making her chuckle

"Well you two have fun and not the kind that involves weird noises" I siad running up

I heard them yelling behind me making me laugh. I brushed my teeth and drying my face I walked to my room and shut it behind me walking through the connecting door to Manik's room

He was lying there on his back, his arm under his head staring up at the roof, he was thinking and I needed to distract him so I jumped on his bed

"Careful baby" he whispered catching me when I lost my balance

"Manikkk"

"Yes"

"Kita sochogai, mesai bat kara na" I said holding his hand sitting beside him

"Kya bat kara" he asked

"You are a grinch"

"I am" he said still starting at the roof

Seeing he isn't interested in talking, I laid down with my head on his stomach and my legs out of the bed. His hand moved from the bed to my head as he ran his fingers through my hair

I moved his hand and held onto it playing with his fingers, he has a huge hand compared to mine which isn't shocking at all because the man is so tall

I heard him chuckling when I yawned covering my mouth using both our hands cause I was holding onto his

"What" I asked

"Nothing"

"But you laughed"

"I did, because it reminded me of you yawning in my face this morning"

"I didn't mean to it kinda just happened" I said laying on my stomach holding myself up on my elbows

"And im not saying that it was bad, it was kinda cute"
