It's been two weeks after I rejected Miss Cardell's offer to drive me home. I chatted her that afternoon. Asking if she already was safely home yet there was no response.

In the university, I couldn't approach her. It feels like we have a big distance between us. But I let it be. It should be that way.

I've been also delaying the talk that June wants us to have. It's selfish of me to keep him from the talk that he needs kaya plano ko after our class in NSTP we are gonna talk.

"Rain, what are you thinking? Napakalalim." Ana inquired beside me. I just gave her a small smile at tumingin na muli sa harapan.

I can't understand myself also. I wanted to avoid Miss Cardell but the more I avoid her the more I'm craving to see her. Hindi na nga ako nakakatulog gabi-gabi. I was tempted to apologize to her for rejecting her offer.

"You go now guys, mag-uusap muna kami ni June." Pagpapauna ko sa mga kaklase ko. When all of them are out, I looked at June who is waiting for me inside the classroom.

"What do you want us to talk June?"

"You are confusing me Rain." He started, he looked at me, staring deeply in my eyes.

"In what way I did confuse you?"

"You flirted back to me. No, you started flirting with me." He sat down hopelessly.

"You know it was just a game right?" My blockmates shipped us to be a couple and we did play the game. We were flirting for the first month of our class but I ended it since I felt like he was falling. I can't catch him so I ended it immediately.

"Let's stop the game. I already lost. I regret playing fire with you." Sadness envelopes his eyes. It's my fault.

"June I'm sorry, I knew from the very start that you like me. That's why you flirted back. I just didn't expect that this will be serious. I'm sorry but I can't reciprocate your feelings right now." I hugged him, this is the only comfort I can give him. He hugged me back also.

"I'm willing to wait then when you can reciprocate my feelings. Because for the first time I'm willing to risk making our game a real one." A hint of determination was in his voice while saying those words.

"Don't wait for me June. Try to explore. May iba na akong nagugustuhan. Makakakita karin ng para iyo."

"Now we are being dramatic let's stop this already and go home."

June is a matured man. He listens when I speak and he speak and I listen.

We have a meeting for the upcoming teacher's day celebration. We will surprise the DMS faculty kaya naman pasekreto kaming nagmemeet.

We usually hang out after school at sabay narin umuwi since isang ruta lang naman ang mga bahay namin.

"Okay see you when we see you."
