I don't know why I always messed up.

I've been not myself these past few days and I was skipping school also to focus more in the cafe. I was trying to figure out how to market people in going here. In this business we have a lot of competitors so dapat maging unique kami sa iba in order to gain more customers.

I pushed the door of the office at pumasok na sa loob. I'm done cleaning and I need rest.

I checked my phone, I have been inactive these past few days. Only Jini and Ana became the bridge of new information about school and everything other than that I totally disappear from their world. My classmates had been wondering what's up with me but I know they already have a hunch.

It was my fault. I didn't check. I didn't ask. I wasn't aware about it and it hurts like crazy that my feelings have been played by my own instructor. But it doesn't matter anymore. I need to move on.

Pipikit ko sana ang mga mata ko to erase those irritating thoughts but the door opened, and the manager came in.

"Ma'am, may naghahanap sa inyu. They want to talk to you about the lot you were inquiring doon sa Inayawan." She said and my face lit up. Finally. I've been waiting for them to contact me.

"Let them in please." Masaya kong saad. She went out and open the door to let the visitor come in.

As I saw their faces my smile was slowly fading. Her arms are linked in his arms. It hurts to see it pero nanatiling nakatutok ang aking mga mata sa kanila. Our eyes met for a second pero binawi niya agad ito.

I cleared my throat dahil parang may bumabara sa lalamunan ko.

"Good afternoon ma'am and sir. Congratulations to your engagement." Masayang bati ko as my eyes were fixed in their fingers.

"Thank you Miss Fuentes." I extended my hand to offer a handshake. The guy accepted it while Miss Cardell just stared at it.

"Hon.." Her fiance gestured her to accept my hand pero binawi ko na ito.

"No need to be that formal to your soon to be wife sir. She's my teacher."

"Okay, let's proceed to the business."

We've talked for an hour about the lot that I will lease for the new branch. It's a good location may kamahalan nga lang ang lease niya but I think it will be worth it. I still need to consult this with my sister.

I can feel her burning gaze but I pretended that it doesn't bother me. Because it should not.

"Thank you, I'll contact you soon Sir." We stood up and shake hands except to the female in front of me.

Naglakad na sila palabas when suddenly they stopped in front of the door kasi may sinabi si Miss. I just sat down in my chair and busied myself with the papers in the table. I heard the door close so I assumed they went out already. I need to focus.

I heard someone cleared their throat kaya naman napatalon ako sa gulat. I raised my eyes and saw the great Cardell that made me fall towering over me.

"Miss, I thought you already left?" I asked in confusion.

"We still need to discuss your inactivity in my class." Her voice changes. Not the soft spoken Cardell I know.

"Yes, please sit-down Miss." I gestured her to sit down but she remains standing. I look at her in confusion.
