I woke up in bed satisfied with my sleep. I can feel Cyril's head above my arms, so I squeezed her in a tighter hug. She moaned and pushed her face more into my neck. I giggled on how cute she is.

"Good morning." She said in hoarse voice. I have been dreaming of this. To wake up in the morning with her in my arms. This is the best view. A best feeling.

"Good morning, baby." I replied and kissed her cheeks. I was about to kiss her lips, but she immediately covered her mouth.

"Don't, I haven't brushed my teeth yet." She reasoned out and I laughed out loud because of it.

"I haven't brushed my teeth too." I replied and raised my arms to get her hand away from her mouth. I succeeded so I pressed my lips against hers for a second.

"Indeed, a good morning." I uttered and sheepishly smiled.

"I have work today." She said while still sniffing my neck, I giggled. Malaking ngiti ko siyang hinarap.

"I'll be going there too. The ground breaking ceremony is today. So I'll see you at lunch?" I asked and kissed her temple multiple times.

"The Principal told us about the lunch but it's just for the higher ups. Not for regular teachers like me." Pairap niyang sabi kaya napatawa ako. Sinamaan niya naman ako ng tingin. I pinched her cheeks until it became reddish. Ang cute niya. I really missed her.

"I can't still believe that you are a teacher now. Alala ko pa ayaw mo talagang magteacher." I said and that made her stop sniffing me. She looked at me in the eye and smile. There was a hint of sadness but the smile was conveying a message that somehow even it was sad but it was wonderful.

"I did, but I was inspired by you. When you left, I haven't found my purpose. Ginugol ko ang oras ko sa organizations but I still felt like I was lost, or something is missing. Then, one day my aunt got sick, and I was here in DB she asked me a favor to substitute her for a day and I did. The biggest plot twist is I learned to love teaching. I want to inspire people like how you inspire me and my classmates. Despite of your absence in our lives during the years when we were studying you never left in our heart."

Cy went to school early because they have a flag ceremony, and she can't be late. While the groundbreaking ceremony will be later this 10:00 am so I am taking my sweet time to prepare something for my love.

"Thank you, maam. This is now ready." The staff handed me the bouquet of tulips that I've let her arrange for me. DB is a small town, but I was glad when I found a flower shop. I nodded at her and gave her my card. When I finished paying, I went inside my car and drove to the school. Napangiti akong tinignan ang bulaklak na nasa front seat. I hope she will love this. In the past I never had the chance to give her flowers. Ngayon bumabawi na ako. I will do things that I wished I've done in the past. I'm gonna seize every moment I have with her and her son.

Lumabas na ako ng sasakyan matapos makapagpark. The assistant Principal welcomed me with a smile and guided me to the construction of building. She keeps on talking but I really haven't been listening to her since my attention is fixed to the flowers that I am holding.

"You received flowers?" Asked by the Assistant Principal. I don't want to ignore her more so I looked at her and smiled a little.

"I'm going to give this to someone." Magtatanong pa sana siya pero mabuti na lang ay may mga tao na kaming nakasabay sa paglalakad papunta sa gagawan ng building. I roamed my eyes around, hoping I would see her accidentaly but to my disappointment ay hindi ko siya nakita. Maybe she has classes right now. I'll just ask the Principal later about her schedule.
