Chapter 14

      In the morning I hear loud bangs against the house. I was the first one awake since everyone was still on a high from last nights events. Kai left an hour leaving Avery. I can tell she's grown attached to him, I just don't know if it's friendly or more. I walk out and see Ingrid in full hair and make up! "Uhh what's going on?" I ask making her turn around looking seriously scary. She doesn't blink when she says "Morning."

I nod and gesture to the garage door with a huge dartboard against it "What's this about?" I ask once again making her turn around. I smile and say "I can feel your eye roll Ingrid." making her scoff. She takes a knife at a ninety degree angle and lunges it at the board making a bullseye. I laugh making her turn around "We have a meeting to get to right? Is Avery awake?" she asks making me shrug my shoulders. She imitates my face and shoos me to the door like I didn't know what to do.

She throws another on and I stop it "HA! better luck next to me." I say as I walk back inside as she throws another at my head making me bump into Avery. She looks at me with tears in her eyes. I shake my head and panic "Oh no what happened?" I ask making her point to the room that's soundproofed for Cain and I. Probably should've told her about that. I can only imagine what she saw. I walked in on them too and I cried. She looks at me "I thought so. Look why did Jasmine leave with Kai and Hayden?" she asks making me sigh along with a shrug "Kaiden doesn't tell me anything. Me and Ingrid are always out of the loop of things." I say making her nod as she sucks her teeth.
