I've waited a hundred years,
But I'd wait a million more for you.
Nothing prepared me for,
What the privilege of being yours would do.
If I had only felt the warmth within your touch.
If I had only seen how you smile when you blush.
Or how you curl your lip when you concentrate enough.
I would have known what I was living for all along.
What I've been living for.
Your love is my turning page,
Where only the sweetest words remain.
Every kiss is a cursive line,
Every touch is a redfining phrase.
I surrender who I've been for who you are.
For nothing makes me stronger than your fragile heart.
If I had only felt how it feels to be yours.
Well, I would have known what I've been living for all along.
What I've been living for.
Though we're tethered to the story we must tell.
When I saw you, well I knew we'd tell it well.
With a whisper, we will tame the vicious seas.
Like a feather, bringing kingdoms to their knees.7 weeks, 1 day later.
"Wedding day!" Came Penny's sing-song voice.
Over the past few months Gabriel and Nathalie have been planning their wedding and after many delays, such as Noelle's premature birth, it was finally their wedding day, July 24th, 2024.
"God, I'm so nervous." Nathalie grinned widely, her hands shook violently at her sides as Penny, her maid of honour fixed a few strands of wild hair.
"I wish my parents were here." Nathalie sighed, feeling the tears well in her eyes.
"Oh no, no, no crying!" Penny cooed, cupping Nathalie's face as her lips pouted while she tried to hold in her tears.
"Don't ruin the makeup. You look too good for that." Penny giggled, dabbing her eyes with a tissue.
Nathalie breathed in deeply and nodded, but quickly began to pace again, "What if Gabriel stands me up at the altar or somebody decides to 'speak now'." Nathalie panicked, pacing back and forth in her robe.
"And don't mind the fact that reporters will be everywhere, and it's going to be a pretty big wedding anyway, I wanted private, simple! But no, I had to go and agree to a huge wedding to heal my inner child, who even cares about their inner child?!" Nathalie whined, falling to the floor
"You do, and that's beautiful, Nath." Penny smiled, crouching to the floor with her.
"Now get the hell up, that is custom Vera Wang!"
Nathalie giggled and stood up, "God, I'm not even in my dress yet."
"I know, but it's a custom Vera Wang robe." Penny smirked, "Anyways." Nathalie rolled her eyes.
Nathalie's dress had an off the shoulder neckline with a mix of an A-Line and mermaid bottom, it was mostly open back with a cathedral style train and a cathedral style veil. Her hair was styled in a messy updo with pieces of hair that fell out from the bun and the front of her hair.
She paired that look with a pair of dangly diamond earrings and a semi-long diamond necklace.
For shoes, she had Jimmy Choo heels with satin ribbons around the ankle straps.
"We're back!" Caline yelled out in a sing-song voice.
Nathalie had decided to let some unexpected people into her bridal party, besides Penny, Caline, Nadja and Marinette, she had invited Audrey and Amelie to be her bridesmaids as well.
Her daughter, Noelle would be the flower girl and Timothée would be the ring boy, Gabriel had made Adrien his best man and Jagged, Armand and Andre were his groomsmen.
