There's no place I'd rather be (than on my surfboard out at sea).
Lingering in the ocean blue (and if I had one wish come true).
I'd surf till the sun sets beyond the horizon.

A/N: any lilo and stitch fans here? This was everything to me growing up, besides the jungle book.

It was their last day in Jamaica and it was soon time to return to Paris, Nathalie couldn't help but feel sad as she sat directly on the shore letting the gentle waves hit her repeatedly.

She reminisced about her childhood experiences in Jamaica with Emilie, her very best friend. Along with Penny, Caline and Nadja. They all grew up together.

"Hey." Caline came up to her, sitting next to her on the sand.

"You okay?" She now whispered, brushing the hair out of the dark haired woman's face.

Nathalie nodded solemnly.

Caline sighed and looked back towards the sea, which is what Nathalie had her eyes focused on to keep herself from crying.

"I miss her too." Caline whispered again, taking a hold of Nathalie's hand.

Nathalie stayed silent, her eyes still focused on the water ahead of her.

"Why don't we go for swim? It'll help with the back pain too. I'll text the girls. It'll be like old times." Caline suggested, turning to face her friend now.

"That'd be nice." Nathalie mumbled, letting a small smile break though.

"Great. Colette's asleep in our room anyway, Jean's watching her," Caline smiled giddily, pausing for a moment.

"I miss her already." She whined.

"I guess I'll be that way too when this little girl arrived." Nathalie grinned, looking down at her belly, placing both hands on it.

"I hope she's okay." Nathalie's smile returned to a frown now.

"What do you mean? Are you hurting?" Caline quickly shot up, taking Nathalie's face into her hands.

"No, no, nothing like that.... It's just that I'm already halfway through my pregnancy and I haven't felt her kick yet." Nathalie whispered, tearing up.

"The doctor said she's fine and growing accordingly and that it's normal to not feel anything until at least twenty-four weeks, but, I just can't shake it that she hasn't kicked yet. I haven't even felt a flutter." The young woman now spoke with a trembling voice and tears running down her cheeks.

"Oh, don't worry, Nath. It's totally fine. Colette was pretty stubborn too but look how healthy she is, there's nothing wrong with your little girl, don't stress yourself, okay? Especially if the doctor told you she's okay, trust me, I know." Caline pulled her in for a hug.

"Okay." Nathalie murmured, wiping her eyes.

Sighing heavily, Nathalie began to speak again, "Don't you think we should invite the kids and the guys to join as well, it would be Colette's first time in the ocean right?" Nathalie smiled.

Caline smiled back, "You're right, we should all be together and I do want to introduce the little miss to the water from now."

"Okay, I'll call my fiancé and the kids and you call Jean." Nathalie said as she took out her phone from her purse.

"Oh, perfect timing, Jean just texted saying she's up and in a good mood." Caline grinned, quickly typing back a message.

Everyone was now in the water, Gabriel was holding Nathalie from behind as she rested her head on his shoulder, smiling blissfully.

"I feel so light." Nathalie murmured, completely relaxed.

Gabriel chuckled and held her tighter.

"You are light." He rolled his eyes playfully.

"Oh, shut up, you know what I mean." Nathalie giggled.

Caline on the other hand was holding her baby as she crouched in the water, Colette gave her an unimpressed expression. Her eyes were squinted, her eyebrows knitted tightly together and her lips pulled into a tight pout.

Caline giggled at her newborn, smiling brightly as she eyed her expression.

Jean smirked and fixed the bucket hat on Colette's head, "She looks so over it." He chuckled, leaning in to give Caline a quick kiss before going back to filming his daughter and partner.

The teenagers, on the other hand were kissing away, playing in the waves together.

"Adrien, if you keep splashing me, I swear to God, I'll take you to the vet and neuter you." Marinette grabbed his wrists, grinning wickedly as he gulped, immediately surrendering.

Nadja, and Penny were busy forming balls of sand to throw at Jagged for the comment he'd just made about how Nadja should go back to Manon so he could whisk Penny away. Of course, Penny wasn't having it, so here they were.

Jagged had tried to run but Manon, whom was absent from the party before due to her father suddenly showing up to take her to dinner, had trapped him in the sand.

Nathalie watched them all in awe, smiling widely, she felt completely stress-free for the first time in a long time.

She wouldn't have traded this for the world.

A/N: This was shorter than usual but I do have a few longer chapters on the way so that'll surely make up for it, although you might hate me🤷🏼‍♀️.
