Amelia stays outside of the rocket hoping for Clarke to come, but there was no one. "mel." Raven says softly.
"she's going to come." Amelia says worried.
"the radiations already affecting the avionics. it's now or never." Raven says.
Amelia hesitates but she steps inside of the rocket and takes on last look at the lab hoping Clarke would come running in. but there was nothing.
Amelia places her hand on the hatch, "may we meet again, wanheda" she says softly as she closes the hatch.
she takes her seat next to Bellamy and Dax as bellamy holds her hand. "she isn't coming?" Harper asks.
"can't we give her another minute?" Emori asks.
"we're out of time. this is what Clarke would want us to do, if we wait, we die." Bellamy says.
"wait how are we going to know if she got the power back on?" Murphy asks.
"we'll know when we get there. opening launch door." Raven says as she presses a bunch of buttons. she turns to face Amelia, "you sure about this?"
"there's no other choice." Amelia says sadly.
"initiating countdown." Raven says.
"go for launch is t-minus 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1." the computer says as amelia takes one last look at the door.
the rockets launch and Bellamy squeezes Amelia's hand. "almost there. booster seperation in 3, 2, 1." Raven says as there's a hard stop.
"you ok?" Bellamy asks as Amelia nods.
"booster seperation complete." the computer says as Raven laughs.
"welcome to zero g boys and girls." Raven says as Amelia watches her arm float in the air.
Murphy tries to take off his seatbelt but raven stops him. "No, remember oxygen is limited. no floating. your heart race will rise and you'll use too much air. doesn't matter if the lights aren't on. computer, engage navigation systems. preset coordinates. get me to the damn door and I'll do the rest." Raven says.
"preset coordinates engaged." the computer says as Amelia and Bellamy look at each other.
"we should be getting our first look at the ring right about....now." Raven says.
