3rd pov:
(Y/n), a member of the Z fighters and a very close friend to Piccolo and Gohan. Trunks won the Junior division in the world's marshal arts tournament. You were a saiyan just like Goku and Vegeta. Your parents were friends to Dende, earth's guardian and that's how you met the tall namekian. When your parents passed away, you were entrusted to Dende. You and Piccolo saw a short man with a white mohawk and a taller man with a sun burned looking face. As the short one talked to Goku you were in deep thought. Dende has spoke about someone like him before.
(Y/n's) pov:
I stared at the short male. Piccolo was skeptical about him too. 'So cute!' I thought and the short male glanced at me and a light blush dusted his cheeks. After he and Goku spoke he returned to the tall red dude and they walked off. I blinked in confusion. "What was that all about?" The girl next to Gohan asked. Piccolo and I walked forward to stand each side of Goku. "Their not from here. Earth I mean." The namekian said and I nodded my head. "I have a feeling I've met him before. Something about him is all too familiar, I don't know anymore." I said. I could hear Videl asking Gokan about our 'si-fi' talk and he made something up. I giggled a bit about what Videl said about Piccolo paining himself green. "Not funny (y/n)!" Piccolo growled. "Oh but it is, Pic." I defended. "Stop calling me that! I'm not a guitar pick!" The tall green namekian hissed. I smiled at him. Goku just laughed. 'Who are you?' I thought. "You'll find out soon." I heard the male's voice in my head. I knew better not to overreact. "So you can read minds?" I asked and he replied with a 'yes'. I was cut from the conversation by Gohan shaking my arm. "Hello? (Y/n)? You listening, we've been calling your name for 1 minute." Gohan said. "Oh, sorry. I was deep in though. Trying to remember where I saw that guy." I lied.
We continued to walk where we'll be be paired up. We each picked a number. Most were surprised when Vegeta picked number 12. That means he'll be fighting Goku. Krillin was a bit nervous about that and Goku smiled. "(Y/n) (l/n). Pick a number please." The blond guy said and I picked number 17. Ironic, right? Android 17. Lol. I giggled and showed my number to Android 18. She gave me a blank stare as if I wasn't funny. "Seems like I'm 17." I said and walked back. I started to laugh, the more I think about it. Goku laughed too. Goku and I stopped laughing, just to burst out laughing again. "It's not funny you two." 18 said. "Sorry, but it is. 'I'm 17.'" I mocked and laughed again. 18 just rolled her eyes at the two of us. Gohan treid his best to come up with something to tell Videl. Goku and I stopped laughing and saw everyone staring at us. The short male with the white mohawk held amusement in his beautiful black orbs. 'Wait... what! I barley know the guy!' I mentally scolded myself. I looked in his direction to see him with a light blush. 'Aww, so cute.' I thought. "Thank you for the compliment. Your cute yourself, (y/n) and my name is Shin." He said in my mind. Shoot I forgot he could read minds. I blushed a dark shade of red. Vegeta stared at me. "Y/n, are you okay?" The saiyan prince asked. "I'm fine." I replied quickly. Piccolo stared at me, knowing I'm not fine but ignored me. "(Y/n), that was a good one!" Goku exclaimed. "You never met him!" I yelled. "It's good that I didn't pull number 18." I said and laughed. Goku laughed too. "Alright, I'm killing you!" 18 declared and chased me around. I ran for my life. Videl turned to the struggling Gohan. "17 is 18's twin." The poor half saiyan said. They all watched as I ran from the android.
Shin's pov:
Kibito and I watched as the saiyan (y/n) was chased by 18 for making a joke about her twin. "Are you sure it's her?" Kibito asked, not sure anymore. "It's her." I replied confidently. I let out a small chuckle watching her hide behind Vegeta then Goku then Gohan and then Krillin. Dende has done well. He did tell her about me and I did show up once when she was like 3 or 4. I just need to see if she can remember me. "When do you plan on telling her?" Kibito asked again. "Patience my friend, patience." I said and glanced at my opponent, Piccolo, he has ties with earth's guardian and should figure out who I am. I scanned through most of the fighter's minds most of them just wanted to see if they can defeat the so called champion. No one's thoughts are evil yet. Kibito and I kept a close eye on the two with the 'm' on their foreheads. I felt someone's eyes on me and I glanced back to see the namekian looking at me, once Piccolo noticed me returning his gaze, he immediately looked away. I quickly glanced to (y/n) and saw her apologising to 18.
