Part 17.

Today is the day. The day I go back to training for the first time since that match. I know Leah has talked to Jonas about the whole Betty and Jordan situation but I know he doesn't care because I think he's in on it too. We're just getting ready for training and I'm quite scared but I'm brought out of my thoughts by a pair of arms wrapping round my waist.
Leah: Hey bubs you ready?
Abi: As ready as I'll ever be I guess.
Leah: What's wrong bubs? Are you not feeling well enough to go because I can tell Jonas you were sick again.
Abi: No I feel fine but I'm just nervous because of you know.
Leah: Oh bubs come here (hugs Abi) look at me ok? (Abi looks) I've got you and I will not leave your side. But if I have to for training then you'll have Beth and Viv and I'm going to try and talk to Jonas again.
Abi: Ok gorgeous thank you.
We leave to go to training and the whole way there I'm just sitting silently thinking but trying not to worry and Leah just say there and let me think away which I was very grateful for. We just got to training and I see Beth and Viv.
Beth: Hey guys, Abs how are you?
Abi: Hey umm yeah I'm ok just a bit nervous.
Viv: Don't worry everything will be fine and if it gets to much just tell one of us and we'll get you out of the situation ok?
Abi: Ok thanks guys you're the best.
We walk in and I have quite a few people come up to me but the first is one person I just need a hug from and she can tell that I think.
Annie: You ok?
Abi: I am a bit better thanks not much but getting there.
Annie: Now no one has told me what happened but I can guess because she's here and you're wearing base layers in the middle of summer so come here (hugs Abi tight) (quiet so only Abi can hear) it's ok nothing is going to happen to you. Does anybody know?
Abi: Less and Ella know but they're back in Manchester but Leah, Beth and Viv know too.
Annie: Ok so here at training you have four people who won't let anything happen to you ok now you ready to go out there and smash it all?
Abi: (chuckles) I'll give it my best.
We walk into the changing room and put our boots on and Leah is just sitting watching me thinking I can't see her.
Abi: Take a picture it'll last longer.
Leah: Oh what what you on about Abs.
Abi: You staring at me so much, I mean I'm not complaining having a beautiful girl like you looking at me.
Leah: Right enough with the flirting you let's go out.
Abi: Ok bub- Lee ok Lee.
Leah: (once out of the room) that was a close one but I don't think anyone noticed now come here (kisses Abi) that's to remind you how strong you are and how you can do this.
We get out and that's when I see them, sucking up to Jonas as usual. Typical Betty is all I can think. They look at me and Leah when we walk out and Jordan walks over to Leah and tries to kiss her.
Leah: What are you doing? Stop.
Jordan: (whispers so only Leah can hear) I would let this happen if I was you or who knows what will happen to Abi. (Kisses Leah again)
When I saw them kissing it hurt, like really hurt, I thought they had broken up, I must've been wrong. I'm going to ask Annie if I can stay at hers tonight.
Abi: Hey Annie can I possibly stay at yours tonight?
Annie: Of course you know you're always welcome but how come I thought you were staying with Leah.
Abi: Yeah but now that Jordan's back I don't want to get in their way.
Annie: Abi Jordan and Leah broke up six months ago.
Abi: But Jordan was kissing Leah just now.
Annie: She was what? Where did Leah go?
Abi: Over there with Jordan.
Annie: (Runs off to Leah) Leah can I have a word quickly in private?
Leah: Yeah of course.
Jordan: Come right back though yeah Leah.
Annie: (pulls Leah away) Leah what happened come here (hugs Leah)
Leah: She said I had to do it or something would happen to Abs and I can't let anything happen to her. Where is she I need to explain that me and Jordan aren't together.
Annie: She's over there do you want me to give you two some space?
Leah: Yes please (runs off to Abi) Abs Abs I need to explain. Me and Jordan aren't together I was trying to protect you I'm so sorry bubs it's you and only you, you're the only person I love or ever will love. (Hugs Abi)
Abi: It's ok gorgeous as long as you're ok. She didn't do anything to you did she?
Leah: No bubs don't worry I'm fine. I love you so much Abs.
Abi: I love you two Gorgeous.
We then walk to the gym where we are for training this morning. I feel like there's something more Leah isn't telling me about Jordan but then again there is so much I haven't told her yet so I'm sure it will all come with time. We walk into the gym and the only other two people there are Jonas and Betty, but I'm sure Jordan isn't too far behind. Well here goes nothing I guess.
