Chapter 26- another runaway

The next morning when Wednesday woke up Lily was no where to be seen,she checked everywhere in the dorm.
"Enid?Enid!" Wednesday whisper yelled shaking the snoring blonde.
"Enid! Ajax is here" Wednesday whispered again knowing this would wake the werewolf. Enid shot up rubbing her eyes.
"What?! I need to get ready!" She shrieked before her eyes focused and she realised Wednesday was lying. She groaned and glared at the goth.
"Wednesday you can't-" The blonde was cut off.
"I can't find Lily" Wednesday stated her face emotionless.
"She ran away again! Oh jee I hope she's alright" Enid mumbled worried.
"We have to find her! Come on!" Wednesday hissed dragging the werewolf out of bed. She picked up her phone messaging Lily but getting no reply though all her messages were being read. Enid got dressed quickly and they both darted out the door.

Lily's POV:
I don't know how long I've been running through these woods but I've got to get to Enzo. Wednesday's been texting but I can't answer not now, she'll try and stop me from finding him. I'm miles away from Nevermore now, I don't know my way back to the house on foot but I've gotta get there. There's not enough signal on my phone so the directions aren't much use.

Back to Enid and Wednesday:
"Wait Wednesday I forgot! I put her location on and it's linked to my phone" Enid yelled stopping in her tracks and pulling her phone out.
"You've only just remembered that! Really Enid!" Wednesday grumbled turning to the blonde.
"It says she's in the woods but she's...miles away from Nevermore. She must've left hours ago" Enid mumbled getting more worried by the minute.
"Hurry up! We've gotta go get her then!" Wednesday hissed snatching Enid's phone as she started running.

*Time skip*
They'd been walking for hours now but Lily kept getting further and further away.
"Enid check her location now" Wednesday stated waiting for the werwolf to obey.
"It's says she's at a house. We aren't too far now" Enid told the goth as they started running again.
"She's going to get Enzo! Remember what happened yesterday" Wednesday breathed out as they ran.

Back to Lily:
She's made it to her parents house and snuck around the back. She had to find a way to sneak in because there was no way she was going through the front door. The place was erie, the back garden was overgrown with weeds and the flowers were dead. That was unusual since her mother usually took pride in her garden. She noticed and open window and climbed through it. The house was deadly quiet. It was a mess, Empty wine bottles everywhere,dirty dishes,washing strewn all across the floor. Lily was shocked, her parents loved keeping the house perfect. What had happened to them? She crawled through the hallway and peeked her head into the living room where her mother sat with a cigarette and a book in her lap. She looked like death, her curly blonde hair was thrown into a bun, and there were purple bags under her eyes. She crawled towards the stairs, she didn't have to worry about her father as she knew he'd gone to work as his car wasn't there. She walked slowly up the steps in search of her brother. Alas she heard his soft whimpers and she followed them, there she found the small boy curled up in the corner of his now completely empty room.
"Enzo" Lily whispered as she kneeled in front of him.
He looked up his eyes wide in fear before they fell on his loving sister and instantly filled with joy.
"Elle! What are-" lily stopped him putting her hand over his mouth to shush him.
"What happened here Enz? The place is a tip" Lily asked quietly taking the boy into her arms.
"After they sent you to school, They got all mean and stuff" Enzo explained.
"I'm so sorry buddy,so so sorry" Lily murmured standing up with Enzo still in her arms.
"Let's got out of here. Yeah?" Lily whispered kissing Enzo's head before slowly tip toeing out of the room. She managed to sneak back out with no trouble. As she walked around the side of the house she saw Wednesday and Enid. She quickly an over telling them to be quiet.
"We were so worried-"
"Enid not now! Come on!" Lily whisper yelled dragging the two girls away from the house. Once they got back to the woods Lily's two roommates stopped and glared at the vampire.
"Lily what is going on?" Wednesday hissed.
"I'm saving my brother okay?! Look at him he's petrified" Lily snapped and Enzo jumped at the sudden change in Lily's emotions.
"You can't just run away like that! I am responsible for making sure you're safe. You're my girlfriend and I was worried. Anything could have happened out here" Wednesday muttered back throwing her hands up in the air.
"I'm-I'm sorry but keeping my brother safe is more important than what could happen to me" Lily stammered looking down.
"You know what let's go get ice cream! Hey Enz? Sound like a plan?" Wednesday asked looking at the small boy cuddles up against her shoulder. Enzo nodded a big smile crossing his face as he kicked his legs back and forth. Lily started walking, Wednesday sighed and trudged along behind her two roommates.
