It's been about a week since y/n walked out of her sons life. A week since she made that horrible decision to protect him and his father.
She knew that if anyone should be in pain right now it's her, not them. She left and went to her friend all the way outside of the city.
You would wonder how she made it there with so much pain from giving birth. But there's things about y/n l/n that she survived and you wouldn't know.
That girl could walk through hell and back unharmed. She was a master at physical pain. Emotional on the other hand..
You know that stinging you get in your chest, when you do something wrong or something bad happened to you. Or even if you lost or left someone important to you?
It cuts you open right.
You lay on your bed for days and you can't seem to have the force to get up and make use of the time you have while you still have it.
That's what everybody does when they're batshit sad. They lay down and hope all the bad things will just exit their mind. But your body doesn't respond to you like that.
The more you keep hoping it goes away, the more it floods you, and you hope you can swim and you try to think that you can be able to fight against it but you can't.
It's a cold, cold fucking world.
Especially for the young mother. Y/n has grown up with nothing, always moving from cheap houses that are falling apart every few months. Not to mention her mother passing away as soon as she gave birth to the girl.
Which means she was stuck with her one parental figure that didn't even give a shit about her well-being.
Everything changed when Finn came into the picture. It was like all those Disney movies she saw on the television as a child, the prince found her princess. And the princess found her prince.
Well wait until you realize that shitholes like this aren't like magical fucking fairy tales.
"Y/n come on.. you haven't even touched your food once." Sadie sat across from y/n on the dinner table, watching as the girl would pick up her hand and then put it right back under the table. Not even touching the dinner Sadie prepared.
Y/n sat there, staring down with not emotion on her face. It was as if she'd gone numb, as if nothing in the world mattered. She'd occasionally try to eat, but it was hopeless. She didn't have an appetite.
She hasn't eaten one bite of food since the week begun. It took Sadie a long ass time to get her to even sit at the table with her. So to the ginger haired girl, she was sort of making progress. Sadie sighed and started digging into her own food.
"I just left him there.." y/n started, the other girl looked up at her. Her blue eyes were filled with sympathy for her. She saw how broken the girl became. "Without an explanation."
"You did what you needed to do love." Y/n remained silent, Sadie got up and went by her friends side putting her arm around her shoulder and pulling her into a side hug. Y/n laid her head against her and just hoped that every single pain and suffering would go away. "Make it go away." At the end of the day, he was better off without her.

Finn was also a disaster, he craved his loves touch and wanted her with him. He wanted her by his side, he wanted her to help him while his eyes were heavy at 3 am in the morning for taking care of klaus.
He wanted to believe she didn't leave, he wanted so badly to believe that she didn't just leave them like that, to leave Finn was this huge responsibility all on his own. But she did leave. Like it or fucking not she did leave and now it was up to him.
He tried as hell to find her, he did, for the first few days he would constantly be on call with the police, a phone in his right hand, and a newborn in his left. At 15.
Finn did everything he could for baby klaus, promised him an amazing life without any problems. It felt like a nightmare at first, but he needed to come to terms with the fact that y/n wouldn't come back, she left. It was her choice.
He hated her so damn much (I love you.)
He wished her drop dead (where are you?)
He wanted her to suffer. (Come back..)"Finn?" the boy sniffled and looked up from the dark room, that was until the light turned on. "Hey nick." He had bags under his red eyes and his hair was as much of a mess as he was. Nick felt hurt seeing his brother struggle like this, but he knew that his brother was a strong kid.
"What are you doing in here it's 4 am?" Nick walked further into the nursery, looking at the sleeping baby as he did so, that's when he noticed the baby bottles next to Finn. The trash filled with used diapers and the nursery looking at it had gone completely upside down. "Oh."
"Why did she have to leave." Finns voice broke, "why did she have to leave me, I need her. I fucking need her." The older boy almost had tears in his eyes when hearing his brother speak like that. Finn was such a cheerful and hyper kid.
"This is hard Nick." Finn said fiddling around with the bottle in his hands. "Yeah, I know." The older boy stood not too far away from his brother but still had a view of his nephew sleeping peacefully in his crib. Finn wished he could have no care in the world like babies do.
The two boys stayed quiet for a while when nick walked over an extended his arm to his brother. "Come on." Finn hesitated but took his it and nick helped him up patting his back when he did get up.
"You'll do okay."
