(So I was thinking, and I know good and well I have just a few more chapters to write before I can get to the ending, so it'll probably end in like 3-5 more chapters!!)
//"So, you're gonna be okay right?" Cameron asked, plopping down on the opposite bed I was on, and I didn't bring up the fact that I wanted him to lay by me.
"I'm gonna be fine." I blankly said, staring at the ceiling with both of my hands softly laying on my stomach.
Honestly, all I could think about was my fathe- Will. I wasn't thinking too much of Julian considering she's awake and fine, but Will on the other hand has been out for at least two days.
"The boys should be here soon, so just be prepared for that." He informed me, "I hope you're okay, Jessi."
"Where are you going?" I noticed him leaving the room without an explanation, and I wanted to yell at him for acting so strange.
"I need to call my mom and tell her I made it here." He stated.
"You can't call her and tell her that in here?"
"Jessi." He barely said.
"Just do what you have to do." I reassuringly smiled at him.
Before he could even walk out the door, my phone rang in my back pocket.
"Hello?" I breathed out, not taking in the thought that the hospital is calling me.
"Hi, Is this Jessi Carmack?" A woman asked, and I nodded, but soon realized I was talking on the phone, and that she can't see me.
"Yes yes" I quickly said, almost feeling the tears fall from my eyes from how nervous I am.
"We need you here- at the hospital right now please. Are you able to come at this time?" She was rushing to talk, and I looked over to Cameron who was still standing blankly in the doorway, knowing exactly who called me.
"Yes I'm able to." My voice was shaking.
"Okay, we'll see you then." And she hung up.
"We have to go." I scurried towards the door.
"Is everything okay?" He grabbed my arm.
"Does everything look okay to you Cameron?" I spat, feeling terrible after yelling towards him.
"I'm- I'm sorry." He stuttered, following me down the hall.
//
Cameron's POV:We reached the hospital in less than five minutes due to Jessi yelling at me the whole time telling me to drive faster.
I came to a quick stop right outside the hospital door, letting her free.
I didn't care whether I was aloud to even park here or not, and I hurried towards the hospital doors along with her.
After taking the elevator to the 2nd floor, she rushed towards her fathers room, but he wasn't in there.
Doctors rushed past the both of us in a hurry, rolling someone down the hall in a bed, and both a Jessi and I were smart enough to know who it was. My mouth parted and Jessi collapsed on the floor right in front of me, covering her face with her two hands, and all I was left to do was watch her scream. It was a matter of one second that her life and mine as well could change due to this.
I've never seen her this way before, and to think it may be almost impossible to fix this, I ached for her. She's cried bad in front me before, like when her mom died, but nothing like this.
I kneeled down beside her, but she only pushed me away.
"Jessi." I tried again.
"Get away from me!" She bellowed, almost scary. "You wanted this to happen, Cameron! You wanted him to fucking die because you despised him!"
