"Hi Cameron!" Charlie was sweet, somewhat too sweet, but that's good I guess. I wish I had her permanent smile.

He made an effort to smile at her while scooting over, giving me a seat in the van. I could have chose to sit by Nash, but that'd be mean wouldn't it?

I sat down beside him, keeping my hands in my lap. There was a good space between the two of us, and I'm guessing he's mad at me. When honestly, I should be the one mad at him. I still am.

"Charlie, you can sit back here with me." I said, the seat next to me open. I could use someone to talk to, maybe things wouldn't be as awkward.

"I'm fine, thanks though." She smiled, glancing at me. I pretended to smile, but secretly, I wanted to forcefully demand her to sit back here and be my friend.

She was literally so pretty, and I love seeing her smile.

I'm gonna let her meet Carter sometime, definitely. Considering she's a "Carter girl."

"You girls should do something, have some fun tonight." Nash brought an idea up, my eyes focused on Cameron, seeing his expression.

"We should all do something." Cameron mentioned, I'm guessing he didn't want Charlie and I to go out just the two of us.

What, did he not trust me enough? In case he doesn't know, I'm about to be eighteen and I'm capable of doing things on my own. Reminds me of when I fell down and cut my knee, and he wanted to do everything for me. In some ways I like it I guess. I guess.

"What should we do?" Charlie asked, what was there to do? Cameron and Nash would be a problem, considering we couldn't go anywhere due to their insane popularity.

"What do you want to do?" Cameron looked at me, and it was strange to say that. He actually talked to me.

I started to say something to the boy, but the fact that he moved my body closer to his kept me silent. How dare he.
Knowing I'm pissed at him, he has the nerve to torture me with his arms wrapping around me.

"Anything." I whispered against his chest, knowing his eyes were set on me. He was always starting at me. Always.

After a few minutes had passed, my thoughts got the best of me. I had so many unanswered questions from him, so many. Yet, I'm cuddled up to him, like nothing ever happened. He needs to know that I'm not easy, and I'm not going to let him get away with everything like this. I'm doing a pretty bad job, too.

"Cameron" I looked up at him, he looked at me as if he already knew what I was talking about. My bottom lip trembled when he held me closer, knowing I loved when he held me tight, but I hated the fact the fact that I'm letting him in so easy. Too easy.

"I'll tell you everything when we get home." He whispered, "You'll understand.."

He did know what I was talking about, even though I didn't tell him.

I tried to nod, laying my head back onto his beating heart. Nash glanced back at the two of us, I could see the cheeky smile on his face. He knew this would happen.

Nash changed the subject, setting his eyes on Charlie.

"So where are you from?" Nash asked her, I smiled.

The fact that I just made her day, letting her meet these losers, makes me happy. Knowing I can make someone happy.

Cameron put his hand on my knee, like he did the first time we met. I felt the chills form on me from his fingertips grazing my knee, and to think this is the first time we've actually gotten along since I've been here.

"I'm from Kansas, moved here about three years ago." She nodded, her brown hair touching the tips of her shoulders.

Honestly, I could wait to get back to the apartment. I wanted Charlie to see how beautiful it is.

I wonder if she'll even stay the night with us.

I hope so. I could really use a friend other than Nash.
