I woke up and took a quick shower before heading out the door. I knew what I had to do in order to fix this.
I signaled for a taxi, and whenever the driver slowed down, I ran towards the yellow vehicles and sat in the back.
I gave him the address, as he typed it in. It wasn't long before we arrived at Diane's house.
I was scared to go in knowing that Cal could be in the house, but I had to stay strong and have a little faith in myself. He won't touch me, and I'll make fucking sure of it.
Cameron would kill me if he knew I were here. He would absolutely flip shit.
I remember when I first met him and I cut my knee open. He wouldn't let me walk on my own, so he'd carry me on his back. He's always taken care of me, he's always been there, and I know I should have probably told him, but he would have went against it and said no. I know him.
I knocked three times on the door, waiting for someone to answer, but no one did, so I went in on my own. Dumbass's, the should have locked the fucking door.
"Diane?" I asked out loud, my voice echoing through the house.
I should have suspected no one being here, considering there's no vehicle in the driveway.
My phone rang, showing Cameron's name on the screen. If I ignore the call, he'll keep calling.
"Hello?"
"Where are you?" He asked.
"I- downtown. I'm downtown. I'm on my way back home right now."
I looked around once more before exiting the house. My plan was to come here and talk Diane out of staying here with this man, but she's not here.
I'll have to come back some other time.
___________________I walked in, Cameron and Ellie both sitting at the bar in the kitchen.
"Hey babe." He smiled.
I sighed, setting down my black leather bag onto the counter.
"Hey." I smiled back, walking over to him and pressing my lips onto his.
He dragged me back to the room, and instantly shoved me onto the wall, his eyes dark.
"What the hell were you thinking?" He screamed, backing away from me. "Do you think I'm stupid Jessi?"
"Cameron."
"Don't 'Cameron' me!" He screeched, "You can't do this to me Jessi."
"I'm sorry- I had to. I needed to get Diane out of there."
"Well, where the hell is she?"
"She- she wasn't there."
"So, you fucking went over there, not telling me, and risking the fact that Cal could have been there? Do you have any idea what he possibly could have done to you?" He paced across the room.
"I'm sorry." My eyes lowered.
"It's not your fault. I know you just wanted to help Diane, but next time give me a warning."
"You would have said no, and don't pretend like you wouldn't have. I mean, look. I'm fine." I walked to him.
"You were so calm whenever I walked in the door, and now you're breathing like crazy."
"I didn't want Ellie seeing us fight. She doesn't need anymore of that in her life."
"You're right." I nodded, "Let's just drop this, okay?"
"Not until you promise me that you'll never go back there without me." His eyes burned into mine, and I knew the only way out of this argument is to promise.
I nodded.
"No, that's not good enough. Fucking say it." He growled.
"I promise." I gulped.

أدب الهواة"No, it's either- it's either we're fighting or we're not. There's either something wrong, or everything's perfect. You know Cameron, I don't even know what love is." I cried, turning to face his weakened body. "I never did."
