"Is this some kind of joke?" Cameron's eyes were now dark, and I'm scared to even look at them anymore.
"I have to go- my dad needs me." I said, my voice cracking at the end.
"Your dad needs you? Jessi, he hasn't been here for years, and he calls you once- he calls you one fucking time and you're willing to just leave and-"
"You obviously don't understand." I closed my eyes, trying to keep my voice low unlike him.
He has every right to be mad at me right now, but my father needs me. And even though he hasn't been apart of my life and I just recently found out he was even my father, doesn't mean I don't care for him. Unfortunately.
"What don't I understand?" He asked, coming closer to me by the second.
"Cameron," I growled at him, "I lost my mother, and I'm sure as in hell not about to lose my father."
"What's even wrong with him Jessi? You're probably over exaggerating like always." He was trying to calm himself, I could see it in his eyes.
"He was in a fucking car accident, and now he's in the hospital and he needs me, and my boyfriend is the one persuading me not to be there for him. What the fuck Cameron?"
"This was suppose to be a fun weekend, babe. I wanted to you spend time with my family like we had planned, and your father that has never been there for you all of the sudden needs you, and you're willing to just drop everything for him. I thinks it's fucking pathetic to me."
"No, you know what's pathetic? It's that you're not telling me that everything is going to be okay right now. You're suppose to tell me that everything is okay, and that my dad is okay. And you're suppose to help me with this. Instead you're worried about me leaving and not being here with you. Are you even thinking about my dad, Cameron?"
"Am I thinking about your dad? Are you kidding me right now? Do you even hear what you're saying? Less than two months ago you were crying in my arms over this dick, and now you're going to leave me for him?"
"I'm not leaving you Cameron." I muttered, "I'm coming back, okay."
"No, you're not."
"Excuse me?" I stuttered, my eyes locked onto his.
"You're not coming back. If you leave now, don't come back."
"Cameron I-"
"No." He said, "I can't. All I wanted was for a good weekend. A good weekend away from all of the Ellie drama, and you've managed to ruin it. I love you, but if you leave- you might as well go." His eyes were no longer looking at me, and somehow he looked hurt. Like I've betrayed him or something.
"If that's what you want."
"Yes, Jessi, that's exactly what I want." He sarcastically said.
"I'm leaving." Tears spilt from my eyes.
