Cameron opened the car door of the yellow taxi cab, and we both grabbed our bags from the trunk, Cameron nodded friendly to the driver, and he sped off. I could feel the sudden ache in my stomach, I could feel my legs almost wobbling each step I take to Cameron's moms front door, and it's not just because of the heavy bag I was carrying tightly over my shoulder.

Cameron glanced at me every other second, a small smile on his lips. He wasn't even nervous. Shouldn't he be nervous too? What happens when his mom might not like me, shouldn't be freaking be worried or something?

"I can take your bag, babe." He chuckled, noticing my struggle. I nervously chuckled along with him.

"No, no." I shook my head, "I got it." I grunted, pulling my bag holder higher over my shoulder.

Cam didn't even knock before he went in, which made me even more nervous because I was expecting his mom to be at the door, but that just makes me think I'm stupid for thinking Cameron would knock at his own house.

I stepped in, the smell of strawberries with a mixture of cinnamon filled my senses. I looked around at the cream colored walls decorated with picture frames with nice photographs of Cam and his older sister. He doesn't talk about her much. Hell, I barely even know her name.

Cameron threw his bags onto the couch, and whenever I started to say something about it, he politely took the bag off of my shoulders and nicely set it on the floor in front of the brown leather couch.

A dog came running through the hallways, and practically knocked over Cameron. I covered my mouth and chuckled at the dogs love for him, possibly even more than I have for him. Kidding.

Cameron kneeled down to the dog, saying what any other person would say to a dog.

"I expected you later, son." His mom came out from a room, which I'm guessing was hers, and embraced her son in a hug.

"Where's Jessi?" She happily asked, me being the quiet one, I don't say anything.

The hallways is dark, so she can't see me very well.

"Jessi." Cameron smiled, looking back at me and reaching his hand out for mine.

I nervously smiled, taking his hand in mine.

"Come out here in the living room, it's too dark in there. The lightbulb blew out, and your sister refuses to put another one in there- oh darling you're beautiful. I'm Gina, but can call me G." The woman wrapped her arms around me, and I did the same, loving the feeling of being loved by Cameron's mom so quickly.

"He described you perfectly." She nodded, still hanging on to at least my shoulder, looking back and fourth between Cameron and I.

"Sierra should be home soon, she's with Brent. She'll be here soon." His mom said while keeping her eyes on me. Cameron almost looked identical, now I know where he gets his looks from. His mother his absolutely stunning.

"Come sit at the table." She led us both into the kitchen, and Cam sat down in the chair beside me of course, while his mother sat directly in front of us.

"How was the plane ride? Tiring I bet." She fiddled with her hands.

"It felt long than usual, even though I slept." Cameron said, and I felt his hand graze over my thigh under the table, his fingers resting on the high of my leg. My breathing increased, but I shook it off.

"Jessi, I'm so happy to finally meet you. I feel like I already know you." She giggled, her smile even bigger than Cameron's.

"It's nice to finally meet you too. After all of this time, I'm surprised I haven't met you already." I rested my elbows on the table, not forgetting about Cameron's hand and where it's located.

"So, you guys are staying in a hotel?"

"No, we're staying in an apartment to in the city. It's beautiful." My eye glowed.

She shook her head, "I've been to New York a few times, lovely place. I wish I could live there. I love the sound of traffic." I smiled at her words, wishing she could live there as well, it'd be nice for her to live in the same state as Cam.

"Does Sierra live here?" Cameron asked, referring to his sister.

"Occasionally. She usually stays with Brent."

"Oh."

"Well," Gina smiled, standing from the table, "Are you guys hungry?"

"Starving." Cameron's hand moved further up my leg.
