Cameron's POV

Ive been sitting in the same chair- the same spot- for what feels like days. But, in reality it's only been about three hours.

I'm not leaving here without seeing her. I'm not leaving until I see her smile, or breathing for that matter.

"Cameron." I heard someone call my name, and my eyes shot up to my best friend.

"What are you doing here?" I stood before Nash, happy to see him.

I just didn't want him seeing like this. I don't want anyone seeing me like this.

"Julian contacted me.." He said, standing only a foot away from me. I couldn't tell you how powerless I feel. I'm on the verge of fucking tears for no reason, and I'm always breathing hard. There's something wrong with me.

Nash looked sad as well, but not half as bad as me.

"Come here, Cam." He embraced me in a hug, and that's when I broke. I've never felt so fucking weak.

I hate crying in front of people, always have. I'm suppose to be the brave one here. I'm suppose to be strong and shit. Right?

But look at me.

"You know you guys always get through things right?" I heard Nash's voice crack, "I've never seen anything like you guys in my life, man." He was still hugging me.

"I just feel like this is all my fault though." I said, letting go of his embrace. "She had a panic attack."

Nash sighed, "Cameron, listen."

"Her dad passed away, and immediately right after that you guys broke up. So more than likely, that made a big impact on her life. All of this time, we have no idea what's been going on in her head. She really has no one Cameron. She's lost everyone she could possibly lose. Her mom, dad, you.."

"She has me, though." I said under my breath. She'll always have me..

"I don't know what else has happened, but I do know you really need to fix things." He said. "Oh, and Lyla's coming. Just a heads up."

I looked up, seeing the girl who has been pretending to date me for two weeks, which isn't a long time at all.. But still.

She had her arms nervously crossed.

"I'm going to get food." Nash said, giving me the eye.

Neither one of us broke the silence for a few seconds.

"I thought you guys left." I said.

"I came back." She said awkwardly. "I just wanted to check on you."

"Why would you want to check on me?" I harshly asked.

"I just-" she began, but couldn't finish her sentence.
