"Stay with me tonight in the smush room," Pauly spoke into my ear or loud enough for me to hear over the music and I bit my lip in anticipation but I guess he noticed right away. "No funny business, I just hate sleeping alone without you."

This time he made my heart melt and I turned to face him with a big smile then pressing a few kisses to his cheek because I might or might not have a soft spot for Pauly even if I got upset earlier about the situation.

"And I want to explain everything tomorrow."

I did a double take after listening to Pauly and tried to search for any signs of amusing look but instead it was genuine and serious instead of his childish antics—instantly my heart skipped a beat and the butterflies were flying throughout my entire body again.
"Will you buy me coffee as promised?" I asked loud enough by his ear and smiled cheekily.

He chuckled softly but nodded in response and his grip around my waist got tighter but not enough to hurt me but just enough to be comfortable and secured.
