*Lisa's POV*
I dressed up for my date, with Jennie. I am wearing a jacket, Jennie got me recently. Well, it wasn't exactly for me. I have been having a lot of thoughts for the last few days. Lilli's condition is getting better and better every day. Her body is now actively responding to the medications. Dr. Beak said we could expect the good news any day.
I walked up to Lilli's secret room. She's still lying there peacefully. I sat down next to her. There's a lump in my throat. I feel so selfish, but I can't stop myself as well.
"Lilli." I called. It's a strange feeling, but I believe she has heard everything I have told her so far. And there are still some things left that I have to tell her.
"I am taking out Jennie for a date Today." I took a deep breath. "I did everything you wanted as Lilli. I cooked for your family. I took your parents to the garden. I made peace with Jisoo Unnie. And what you have wanted for Liam, I followed up with Minnie on that, too. She said the papers would be done by next week."
"And I met Haeri-sshi two days ago. She's still very much in love with him. I haven't talked to him about it yet, but I will do that soon as well."
"Lilli, as I mentioned earlier, I have paved the way. You can go ahead and walk on it once you wake up without struggling. But I am doing the one thing I shouldn't do."
"I am not doing this as Lilli. I want to do it as Lisa."
I stood up to leave. I know, Lilli, I am wrong. I am using her love for you. But just for this one day, let me love her.
"I am taking her to your beach house. Don't worry, I will take her back safely." I said before leaving the room.
I was greeted by Joo-hyun, Minnie, and Jisoo Unnie.
"Girl, finally you are going on a date." Joo-hyun said, hugging me. I returned the smile and looked at Minnie. She's not looking happy. She has a confused face, but it's going to be okay.
"Where's Jennie?" I asked, and they motioned to my back.
I turned around to see the most precious woman in my life. She was wearing a long black and white dress. God! She's an angel. My heart is just throbbing at her sight. She's insanely attractive.
"I am ready." She said, but I was just staring at her. "Lilli?" She called. "Are you okay?" She asked, waving her hands in front of me.
For God's sake, say something, Lisa.
"Ye-- yeah. I am fine. You-- you look beautiful, Nini."
She blushed. She fucking blushed. Can a woman be more beautiful than this?
We bid our goodbyes and left. I could feel Minnie's gaze on me all the time, but I brushed it off.
*No One's POV*
(On-call)
"She left."
"Where's she going?"
"Not sure. I am following her."
"Good. Keep me posted."
"Will do."
"It's all going to end tonight."
*call disconnected*
*Back to Lisa's POV*
"So where are we going?" She asked in a cute voice.
"You will see." That's all I said before intertwining our hands. The rest of our ride was quiet. When we reached the place, the night was just beginning to fall. I chose specifically this time because I wanted to watch the sunset with her.
"Your beach house!" She was so excited.
I nodded as I got off and opened the door for her. We straight away walked to the beach and sat down on the sand. Jennie laid her head on my shoulder.
"It's beautiful, Lilli." She whispered.
"You are more beautiful, Jen."
"Stop it." She giggled and lightly smacked my hands.
I held her hand and looked into her eyes. "I mean it. You are the most beautiful woman I have seen, Jennie. If I could, then I want to stop the time so that we will get to stay here, but this will have to end." I said, tears threatening to fall.
"Lilli," She whispered, and she cupped my face. "Nothing will end, I promise. I will forever be by your side no matter what. Not because of anything else, but because I want to. I want to grow old with you, Lilli."
I know, Jennie. I know. But it hurts that you want to do all that with Lilli, not me. I wish I could tell you, but I can't have you hate me as a cheater. Forgive me, Jennie.
I didn't realize I was crying until I felt her thumb brush off my tears. She embraced me and patted my back. She's warm. I don't want to think or worry about anything else in the world for now. I just want to be in her arms.
We went to the house there from the beach. It's simple and cozy. I am going to cook for her. I came here Yesterday to prepare everything so that I don't have to worry about anything Today. I hope Jennie likes it.
We ate Pasta. I am a specialist in Pasta and I could say she loved it. I guess the dinner went great. The slow music, the cold wind from the sea, red wine, the food, and Jennie. My first date couldn't have been perfect anymore, but all good things will eventually come to an end. We were both standing by the patio, with our eyes closed giving in to the cold wind, with her clinging to my hand.
"Do you remember the time we danced together?" Jennie asked after many minutes of silence.
"At the party?"
"Mmmhmm. That was the happiest I have been."
I smiled. "You want to dance now?"
"Shall we?"
I nodded. "Would be an honor, my lady." I said as I pulled her closer to me by her waist. Her hands first rested on my chest, but she eventually wrapped them around my neck and rested her chin on my shoulder. We swayed our bodies together slowly.
"Lilli," She whispered against my neck. I hummed. She straightened her face and looked into my eyes. "I love you." She whispered against my lips. Our faces are so dangerously close now. The tension in the air has changed.
*Third Person's POV*
