Maybe it wasn't the smartest idea to head out to Jericho during a hot day. It's always cloudy or rainy but today the weather seemed nice. You haven't told your boyfriend that you get heat exhaustion every time you're in the sun. You probably should but if you did he wouldn't allow you out a lot. And you didn't want that.

You throw on an outfit for a warm day hoping it would help. If anything got too bad there was always the cafe.

"Ready?" Xavier questions as he opens the door for you.

"Yea."

When you got there the first stop was the small thrift store. It always had a lot of similar things to what you liked and Xavier always had to buy you something. No matter your protest.

The only bad thing about Jericho was the walk between some of the stores. Especially in the heat.

It's been an hour and everything seemed to be going fine Until Xavier had a plan to just walk around. There weren't many stores that spark your interest that you haven't already visited. He carried the bags of the things you both already bought.

After a little while of talking and laughing with him, you suddenly felt like the sun was just beaming down straight on you. Nobody else, just you. Your legs started to feel heavy but you weren't going to ruin the calm and fun you two had going on right now.

But it got harder to ignore when your breathing started to falter. There was a sudden thirst for a drink but you had nothing and the closest thing was still a good bit of a walk away.

Suddenly your vision blanked. Yellow dots surround everything you see. But you can do this.

You can't. You felt extremely weak. "Xavi?" Your voice sounds faint like you can't breathe and he immediately stops walking.

Before you could say something else your body just gave out making you fall to the sidewalk. You're still conscious but your head is pounding making it hard to concentrate. "Hey, whoa. You're okay. I'm right here." He's immediately down with you pulling your head into his lap so it's not on the hard ground. Your things are now long forgotten by you both.

"Look at me. Breathe in and out." He has no idea what happened but you collapsed and he's going to help his girlfriend. "You're almost shaking sweet girl."

"I don't feel well."

"We need to get you something to drink." He looks around for anything that could be of use. His eyes land on a small stand in the grass a few feet away. Making sure your breathing is back to normal he gently moves your head to the ground. "Think you're okay for a minute?"

"Yea."

He runs to the stand buys water and runs back. It almost makes you laugh as his hair blows in the wind. But you don't have the energy for that yet. "Here sit up." He moves to where you're now leaning against his shoulder and holds the bottle for you.

After a few sips, he helps you take a break. "Care to explain what happened?" Your head still pounding but he deserves to know.

"Since I was a kid I've gotten heat exhaustion really easily. Any type of heat for over an hour makes me overheat too much. I'm sorry I didn't tell you. I didn't want to ruin the day."

"Hey, you could never ruin the day, okay? But next time you need to tell me. You almost fainted. Could've hurt yourself if you had collapsed the wrong way."

"I'm sorry."

"It's alright but from now on when you even feel the smallest symptom you tell me. Now, let's get you back to my room for some rest."
