You've had enough of him and his stunts. Tyler hurts people and tries to blame it on others. You knew who he truly was no matter the times he tried to throw you off.

"I know Tyler you can't throw me off like you do everyone!" You whisper yelled at him. It's night at Nevermore which means it's quiet and you were supposed to be in bed. But there's a point to prove. He's not supposed to be here, how he got in is a mystery. But now is the perfect chance to confront him. Maybe you could save someone considering he's already killed, people.

"I don't know what you're talking about." His voice is calm but there's an edge.

"I know who you truly are. Are you on your way to your next victim? Going to set someone up for something you did?" You're pushing but it needs to be done. But that seems to set him off.

He grabs you by your neck harshly almost completely cutting off your air and holds you to the closest wall.

"You just have to be in everyone's business. One day it'll get you killed and just maybe today is that day." His voice is now deep and dark. Unrecognizable. His form never changes, he won't let you know you're right.

"Ty-?" The sight of a knife in his hand has your struggling stop. Maybe you should've brought help. But then your mission to save people wouldn't be.

"Maybe I was here for that. Maybe not. It could be your sweet boyfriend that I'm after but I could just be exploring." At the mention of Xavier, your worry turns to anger.

"Leave him alone." You choke out with the little air you have.

"You don't make choices for me."

"You're right. Someone controls you." His shock at your words gives you a split second to try and escape. With the energy you had your leg kicks out and hits him. The hit makes him drop his hold and you try to run. But it doesn't last long. A hand grabs you then there's a piercing pain in your shoulder. You attempt to scream but your mouth is covered quickly.

"You tell anyone and you're the next target. You've already fucked up my plan which means I have to wait till tomorrow. I've failed." He's pissed. "I have to go but just know you're not safe." Then he's gone.

The pain was shooting through your arm making you feel almost dizzy. He stabbed you pretty hard. Blinking through the pain you started to make your way back to your dorm. Nobody could know about this. Luckily you had your own room.

Walking in you turn the light on and head straight to the bathroom to clean up. Lifting your shirt you see the spot. It's between your shoulder where it connects to you. Almost close to your heart. Deep enough that it needs stitches but you don't have those right now. It'll be fine. You hiss out in pain as you fully take it off. It's bleeding a lot.

After biting your lip trying not to cry cleaning it you wrap it before looking at your neck. Bruised. How were you going to hide that? It hurt to touch so there's no way any makeup would help.

It's late. Deciding to deal with it tomorrow you lay in bed on your non-injured side.

In the morning the pain in your arm had you feeling sick. It was stinging but you had to hide it. Fortunately for you, it was a cold day today meaning you cover up. As you dress for classes you cry out in pain as your uniform sits on your arm. You have to put a good act on for Xavier so you take a deep breath to prepare yourself. Throwing on a light scarf around your neck

You met Xavier at the door of your first class smiling.

"Good morning. Sleep well?" He questions placing a soft kiss on your lips.

"Yea." A lie. You barely slept.

There's a look in his eye but he doesn't say anything. He goes to grab your shoulder to spin you toward the door but he grabs the wrong shoulder. You cry out almost dropping to the floor. He catches you looking extremely worried.

"You okay?

"Yeah, just didn't expect the touch."

"You're lying. Tell me what's wrong love."

"I'm fine." You state walking into the classroom. He brushes it off but watches you the entire class. He notes how you bite your lip anytime your left arm moves and how you constantly fixed your scarf.

After class he grabs your hand making a path to his room. He will find out what happened.

"Xavier, where are you going? We have class."

"Forget about class. There's something wrong and I'm going to figure it out."

As he opens the door he leads you to his bed and makes you sit. His eyes bore into yours but softly. "Now, please tell me what happened."

"Nothing."

"You're wearing a scarf even in heated classrooms and now my bedroom."

You stare at him quietly hoping that he would just forget about it.

"I'm going to take it off." He explains before leaning to unwrap your scarf. You make an attempt to stop him but the pain sears in your shoulder. "Fine! I lied."

He looks concerned when finally taking the scarf off. Your neck is still red. "Who? What? When?" He's almost stumbling over words. Mad or upset you can't tell.

"How long did you think you could hide that?"

"I was hoping forever. Until it went away."

"I'm going to get ice but when I get back you're going to explain the arm thing too." He's stern but soft about it. Concerned.

As he walks away you make another attempt to take off your uniform. Your wound had bled through the wrap.

He walks back to you and makes a pained noise himself before dropping in front of you.

"What happened?!"

"I- I can't say Xavi. I'm sorry." Your strong facade is slipping.

"Hey, it's okay." He helps you fully take off your top before handing you the ice with your good hand. "Keep the ice on it." He commands talking about your neck.

"Can I help you unwrap this?"

"Yea."

While he does your eyes snap shut not wanting to see his reaction.

"Baby..." He whispers. It's bad.

He looks up worried, "You ever gotten stitches before?"

"No."

"This is going to hurt a lot then and I'm sorry. But first let me clean it again."

He gently cleans the blood around it while whispering sweet things when you cry out.

He reaches for his nightstand bringing out a kit with everything inside it. Including stitches. After getting ready he lines the needle up to start stitching. He sees the fear in your eyes and holds back.

"I'm right here, okay? It's going to hurt but you have me. I have to do it. I also may not know what happened but I will always be here to help. I want to help prevent this from happening again. If you'd let me."

He doesn't know that you never can and that you probably never will.
