I wash the grease and grime from my hair, letting the water run through it first getting it all wet. The hot liquid scorches my back until I pull away to grab the shampoo on the shelf.

Tea Tree shampoo in a small bottle is squeezed into my other hand, rubbing into my hair until I can feel the sudsy bubbles. I throw my head back and wash away the soap, letting the water cascade down my back.

Adding the Tea Tree conditioner, putting a dime-sized amount on the ends of my hair, and letting it sit. I turn around and let the water run along my neck and chest to the floor. Water droplets curve off of my hardened nipples, I cover my chest and think happy thoughts.

Listening to the music playing out in the other room, I lean against the wall closing my eyes. Carter is smoking, we don't plan on doing anything today other than lounging around.

The aroma of tea tree stains the bottom of the tub, I feel the water pruning my skin. Ice temperature finds its way over my shoulders and chest. I quickly rinse the conditioner and turn the water off.

I wrap a towel around me and step out in front of the foggy mirror. Water droplets form as I use my hand to uncover the mirror. It keeps dripping until my face distorts giving off a cutting shape.

My legs, arms, and abdomen are now dry. I scrunch my hair and place it in a braid down my back adding an elastic hair tie to tie it off. A few highlights sprout out from around my face, the brown casting an ever-lasting pale color on my face.

Things have changed...

Now walking with the towel around my body out into the open where Carter is lounging on the couch near the patio door, I take the towel off and set it on the bed.

I can sense him staring at me with goggling eyes racking my backside. The hairs on the back of my neck stand up giving me chills. The patio door is open, I stride over to close it.

"Don't, it will smell stronger in here if you close it," Carter says slowly.

Not listening to him, I close it anyway. The warm air coming back to the room, my arms and legs more comfortable.

Grabbing the dark maroon Adidas sweatshirt, black joggers, and navy blue thong, I place them on the bed next to the towel. Carter still stares at me while I apply lotion and perfume over my body.

His blunt ends and he places it in the plastic sandwich bag he got from the store this morning after I sent him on a coffee run. The ashes fall on the floor and i glare at him, he rolls his eyes.

He takes his naked foot and rubs it on the carpet, the ashes blending in until there is nothing to see. Gaping at him for a second, but I close my mouth before he could make a sexual joke.

I finish putting on the clothes and hop into bed, Carter follows me and wraps his arms around me. The pungent smell of skunk is clearly distracted from me, I back away and sit more straight.
