HECTOR POV *Shocked*
This is not just a small little moment and it is definitely not the calm before the storm. That moment had already passed. The deep dying words are being screamed with rage and frustration.
Love is something that I keep dearly in my heart. The love my mother, friends, humans around my culture, and the people I have become so fond of. Everything has a plan whether it is intentional or nonintentional.
Gripping onto someone you love and holding them is supposed to bring you peace. Having that one soul that brings you a lifetime of happiness is supposed to drive you to be a better person for yourself and the people around you.
I found myself in trouble when I joined the dark forces over a couple of decades ago. The girl brought me to tears every time that I looked her way, seeing her brought me peace.
However, that peace was ruined by my actions. Her soul has left this earth for another in hopes she would be better in the afterlife. The thought of her being gone haunts me, she would want me to move on.
I have tried a few times, there was a time I was angry and saddened by seeing the love these two have for each other. Now, I remember why I stopped looking for that special love.
"Why won't you let me explain?"
They have been fighting since this five this morning. Carter asked her to talk about last night and Sarah did not take that too well.
No one is going to come to save me from this torment. I should have known that when I brought them back to the motel by the tunnels last night.
We knew the possible harm of what we did last night, but Carter insisted this was the best option for a safe recovery. I only agreed because he said he would deal with Sarah after the fact.
She is angry with him... And me, unfortunately.
Carter is going down as the most unreliable asshole on this planet. Sarah wants to castrate him and I want to knock his ass out. I am tired of her yelling and I am tired of his notion to not calm her down.
He walks out of the bathroom where they have been fighting all morning and rolls his eyes when he sees me staring at him. His hands are placed on his hips as he sits on the bed next to the empty one.
In two hours we are meeting with my brother to get the treasure back from the cartel. The plan is oddly simple, it is already in motion. The one thing we need is for Sarah to be calm enough to go along with the plan.
Carter has one job, calm her down before we go. So far he is failing miserably.
I tried to draw out the plan as much as possible, but my brother called me. He told me where to and what time to meet him. We need more time, but we don't have it.
"How dare you say that to me, Carter?" Sarah walks out of the bathroom with angry tears streaming down her face, "we have gotten too far for some shit like this to happen."
Carter looks to me for help, I shrug in annoyance at his unpreparedness to tame his girlfriend. Sarah is a one-of-a-kind psychic medium that I admire, but she is an emotional one at best.
She has been doomed since birth with the gift of seeing the dead. Amongst the dead are pieces of the devil in every corner and she was not prepared for that, no one will ever be prepared for that mess.
The two dance around the room arguing again, they seem to get close enough that they might swing at each other. I know Carter won't ever lay his hands on her and I also know Sarah is just frustrated with the both of us.
